I could see everything going on I jus couldn't move or speak. Police flooded the building. I could hear the faded sounds of ambulances. My eyes scanned across the room as police surrounded me asking me questions and shining a bright light in my face.
I heard my name yelled and I already knew who's voice it was. Sam came running into the room but got stopped by the police.
"He went out the back." Sam said on the verge of tears.
"Alright sir but we can't let you near her." The lady said.
I could feel my body getting lifted up onto a comfortable bed.

I had to go to the police station before I could go to the hospital. They wanted me to tell them everything that happened.
Not jus what happened. Every single detail that happened. What he was wearing. What he did. What he said.
They kept asking me questions but the only thing on my mind...was Kayla.
"I don't remember." I replied sighing cause that was my 8th 'I don't remember'.
"Sorry, I can't do this. Is there anyone I can call to go see Kayla."
"I guess, but right in front of me."
I picked up my phone scrolling threw my contacts.
"What do you want Sam? I'm kinda in the middle of sum."

"Kayla is in the hospital. It's a long story but she got shot and I'm at the police station and they won't let me leave." Sam said and I could hear the worry laced in his voice.
"Okay I'll be at the hospital in like 10mins."
Madison quickly climbed off of me. She through her shirt after buttoning cup her shorts.
She ran out the door before I could slip on my shoes.
