The night I fell in love. It was like any other night I watched the news with my parents hearing everything going on. Except this time there was a man he looked around my age and had dyed electric blue hair. His eyes twinkled. Even if it was taken quickly with a phone. The only bad news was he was a murderer.

"Mom, turn it up a bit." I waved my hand at her. Now you may be thinking I'm crazy but I'm bored always  and this guy looked exciting. I observed hearing that he was in our town and on the run. "Maybe I'll meet him." I accidentally said out loud.

"Hopefully not." My dad quickly said. My mom just looked frighted. I left a few minutes later knowing that they didn't want me there. My room was the stereotypical girls room. Pink walls, curtains, and bedding. There were dolls sitting on a shelf that creepily stared at you. but one part of my room was fine it was a little black cupboard in the corner holding my journal.

My journal wasn't that full considering there was nothing to write but for the first time in one year I wrote. I couldn't even stop myself. Was this love? Of course it was. I fell asleep still holding my pen.

"Mom dad I'm going out!" I yelled into the house going out the door. I was going to find my first love no matter what. Where would a madman go? "Ow." I crashed into someone.

"Hey, watch it." He had such a rude tone.

"Oh, I'm sorr-." It was the man. What was he doing out in the open. I looked around to see if anyone was looking. I realised that I didn't know where I was.

"So you recognise me." He pointed out. Was he going to kill me? But to be killed by him I don't think I would mind it. "Are you not gonna run?"

"Of course not I'm not scared." He looked surprised. He actually ended up stepping back.

"Do you even know who I am?" I knew him from the news. Did that count as knowing him? I hoped it did and nodded. "Then what's my name?" I shrugged.

"On the news it just showed a picture." I answered. He put his face into his hands and shook his head. He looked angry. Did I do something wrong.

He quickly grabbed me with both hands on my shoulders. My whole body tensed. This was the end wasn't it. "Why are you here?" That's all he had to say? I started laughing so much I had hold my stomach.

"Here I thought I was about to be killed." He let go of me looking at me with a serious face.

"I could still kill you." I put my arms out making myself wide open. Even if he did stab me it would be exciting I imagine. "You sure are brave."

"Not brave just extremely stupid." He smiled. A murderer was actually able to have that smile! "You should smile more."

"And you should leave." He was still trying to get rid of me. He finally ended up persuading me to go back. Disappointed I took the scenic route. The news always warned to never go down this road but it wasn't night nothing can happen. Or so I thought.

After a half an hour of walking I froze hearing a high pitched scream. I looked around. Was someone pulling a prank? I went behind a tree and hid. Tears stung my eyes. I didn't want to die right now. I remembered how I wasn't at all scared with the boy but now my heart had stopped.

I heard footsteps getting closer. This is the end. I thought. Tightly closing my eyes and fists. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Here I thought you were brave." It was the boy he had come to save me. I turned to see him holding a knife. His smile curled into a creepy grin. "I'm sorry but all witnesses need to die."
