Xavier sat on the chair. His hands were shaking as he covered his face. He looked like a scared little kid. "I'm sorry it's all my fault." I said.

"Don't say that! We don't know what happened yet." He snapped. Even though he says that, the most logical explanation is that the police came. Xavier just refused to believe it. "If I would've stayed here maybe-."

"Stop! You are already freaking out, don't push yourself even more." He brought his head up. There were tears running down his face. I looked at him and suddenly my heart broke. I started to cry with him.

"Hey, why are you crying?" He asked.

"You just look so sad." I was kneeling down with my head on his lap. It wasn't as comfortable as books made it out to be, but it was soothing. "I promise we will find them."

"How can you make a promise like that?" I looked up at him and smiled.

"I just can." We both sat on the couch for what seemed like hours in silence. Then suddenly I stood up. "Let's clean this place up." Xavier snapped back into reality and looked at me as I started picking up the table.

"Here let me help you." He grabbed the other end of the table and lifted it effortlessly. It was in that moment that I realised how strong Xavier actually was. It took us two hours to clean the whole place. There was a lot of me asking where stuff goes. Surprisingly most of the time he couldn't answer. Even though it's his own house.

I looked outside, it was now night time. "It's a full moon tonight." I said quietly.

"Yeah, I don't remember the last time I was able to enjoy a full moon." I remembered when we had met. That night there was was a full moon. Did he enjoy it then? "You know, my mom used to tell me when people died they turned into stars. What is the moon then?" My favourite times were talking to him like this.

"I think it's the first two people that died. There up there so everyone can remember them." He looked at me and smiled.

"Maybe your right." He sighed. Tears started falling from my eyes. I kept thinking how his smile may never come back. "Hey, what's wrong?" He grabbed me by the shoulders.

"I'm sorry Xavier." I put my arms around his neck. I wondered why he was letting me do this. I liked to think it was because I was crying. I thought about how I wanted this moment to never end, but I knew that wish wouldn't come true.
