ok guys so i feel terrible so this chapter might just be terrible as well so please excuse that ok heres chapter 4!

Chapter 4

As Vic and I kept walking, I couldn't help but think about what happened with Luke. "LILLIE!" Vic called out and punched me in the arm at the same time. I snapped out of it. "What?!" I asked. "Why do you keep zoning out so much?" she looked at me concerned. "Vic," I began, "It's Monday and the first day of the second semester and I didn't sleep good last night." We walked into the main building and was starting up the stairs to go to the library. "And you keep thinking about that guy that hugged you!" she says giggling. "NO!" I exclaim. Luke, who is walking up the stairs not far ahead of us, looks down, smiles and winks at me. This boy is not making my situation any better for either one of us, but mostly me. Vic looks at me, "You like him don't you?" "NO!" I exclaim very loudly making Luke look back at us again. He stops walking long enough for Vic and I to catch up to him. Vic shot me a look. Luke started walking with us as soon as we had caught up and said to Vic, "I'm Luke by the way and I'm guessing you're a friend of Lillie's here?" Vic looks over at me and laughs, "Yeah, I'm Vic. And how do you know her?" Luke look over at me and says, " We've known each other for a while now isn't that right Lillie?" I look at hi and he winks again. What is it with him and winking? "Yeah," I say, " we've known each other for a while but haven't seen each other lately. I'm excited to see the other guys as well." Vic looks at me confusedly and says," If you're so excited to see them, how come you didn't walk up to them this morning and say 'hi'?" "Uhm..." I begin, I look over at Luke, who is standing on the other side of Vic, for help. He just shrugs at me and smiles. I roll my eyes, he sure wasn't any help! "Uhm... I just wasn't sure if it really was them or not and I didn't want to make myself look stupid." I finish up. "That was actually a pretty believable excuse." I think to myself. We walked into the library and the teacher was already talking to the rest of the students. Since people were crowded awkwardly around the front desk which was right next to the door, Vic walks on in, but Luke and I chill in the doorway. Vic turns around and looks at the two of us and wiggles her eyebrows at me and turns around once more. I stick my toungue out at her and Luke sees me and laughs at me. He looks at me and says, "I couldn't help but notice you yelling out 'no' to your friend on multiple occasions. Can I ask what that was all about?" I giggle, "It's just she keeps asking if I like you, which I don't!" I realized what I just said and felt really stupid. "I mea-," I being frantically. He laughs and cuts me off, "i know what you mean," he looks down at me and says, " you look more like a 'Calum' girl anyway." I look up at him in shock, "How did you know?" I ask in amazement because, dang! I mean that's pretty awesome he knew because nobody but the girls knew that. He smiles down at me and says, " I didn't until just now." I just stand there and stare at him like an idiot. "That," I begin, "is NOT cool mister!" and I lightly punch him in the arm. He grabs his arm in fake pain, laughs and says, "Don't worry your secret is safe with me" I laugh along with him and then I realize something, "How did you know I was a 'Calum' girl anyway?" He smiles, this boy smiles a lot. but I guess that's not a bad thing. "I could tell just by the way you looked at me earlier that you wasn't a 'Luke' girl and you don't seem like an 'Ash' girl either. So that either left Mikey or Cal." "Well how did you know it was Cal?" I ask in a very strange fake french accent. He laughed and said, "Lucky guess!" "Haha very funny!" I say giggling. "Well it must be," he said laughing as well, "or you wouldn't be laughing" I then had the urge to be really silly so I decided to try something out on him. "Hey Luke," I say, " you know what?" I had my most serious face on, or at least I was trying. He looked at me, "What?" he asks. I paused a bit before saying, "Blerp." He looked at me in a very confused way for a millisecond and then started laughing. Like I mean he burst out in laughter. SO HARD! In the middle of a library, where its supposed to be quiet! "Shhhh!" I hiss at him, but he doesn't stop. People were looking at us, I just pretended I didn't know what was happening. "Oh my God!" he says when he can finally breath. "Why did you find that so funny? I ask giggling and quite curious to know why he erupted in laughter at a single nonsense word. He looks at me n a quite thoughtful way and says to my surprise, "I really don't know." I look at him for a second and say, "Wow just..... wow." "What?" he asks looking confused. I giggle, "No, nothing... its just... I dunno!" Luke looks at me with a goofy look on his face and says again, "What?" I just giggled and said, "You're so weird!" He looks at me and just laughs, "You're calling me weird? We just met 30 minutes ago and you'recalling me weird?" "Yeah," I say, "do you have a problem with that?" I can't help but feel really silly arguing with Luke. "Actually," he begins, trying to act serious but failing, "I do. Because you're just as weird as I am and you really have no room to be saying anything." I give him the evil eye and say, "Touche." He laughs, "Do you usually become friends with people this fast?" His question catches me off guard for a second, then I finally reply, "No, but you're different. It feels like I've known you for longer than I actually have." He looks at me thoughtfully and is getting ready to say something when the teacher calls out my name.

"Lillie!", she calls out, " Come get your calculator sweetie!"

"Ew! Sweetie, bleh!" I say to Luke and he laughs as I start walking to the front desk. As I grab my calculator and start walking back to the door way, the teacher calls out Luke's name. As we walk past each other I whisper, "Newbie" He sticks his toungue our at me and keeps walking. I stand beside Vic and she looks at me and asks, "Are you sure you guys are just friends?" "Yes, we are friends, just friends, NOTHING more than friends!" "Yeah," Luke says. I spin around to find him standing behind me. He looks down at me and smiles, then looks back up at Vic, "Just friends."
