Adopted By The Vampire Prince

🎂🎉Happy Birthday!?🎉🎂 (short ch. sorry!)

After driving for about 20 minutes straight somewhere I was starting to get a little confused at where it was we were going. We were on the main road for a little while until Alexander turned onto a dirt road leading to what looked like nowhere. I was starting to get even more confused now.

"Um, Alexander? Where are we going...Because it's starting to look like you're bringing me out here to kill me" I said chuckling, Alexander laughed.

"As horrible as that would be, no. We are going to an old candy factory" Alexander told me watching the road. I looked at him confused.

"What's at the factory?" I asked.

"Nothing, but it's what we're going to do there" Alexander now smiled. Oh god...What is he planning...I actually think he's going to kill me now.

After about 5 minutes Alexander pulled into a lot of dirt with a very large rusted out factory building. Alexander pulled in and parked the car. We both stepped out, Alexander smiling...Me confused as hell.

"Come on" Alexander said pulling on my hand. I chuckled and followed behind him. Once we were standing at the factory's wall, Alexander turned me to face him.

"Now will you tell me what we're doing here?" I asked.

"Teaching you"

"Teaching me?"

"How to fly???" Alexander rolled out. I widened my eyes and covered my mouth.

"Really!?" I asked excitedly. "B-But I don't know the slightest bit how to, I don't even have my abilities yet" I said abilities in quotation's. Alexander frowned at me.

"Oh quiet. It takes time for these things to come in" He told me. I sighed.

"Fine, how do we do this?" Alexander smiled.

After about 15 minutes of Alexander explaining what I needed to do, how I needed to think, and plenty amount of bruises from me falling on the ground, I was starting to get annoyed.

"Alexander, this isn't working. Maybe I can't fly" I said. Alexander scoffed.

"Camille...Every vampire can fly. You just have to figure out how to" Alexander reassured me. I sighed. "Come on maybe if we give you some height" Alexander said. I immediately thought he meant we were going to jump off of the factory rooftop.

"Where!?" I asked scared. Alexander laughed knowing what I was thinking.

"Don't worry, it's not the top of the building" Alexander told me. "I was just gonna have you get on the top of the car thats it. You wouldn't get hurt" Alexander said. I chuckled.

"Hold, on. Lemme try right here again, just once" I said. I closed my eyes and tried my hardest to concentrate. I listened to the sounds around me and felt everything around me. I imagined an amazing bat in my mind. One with long beautiful wings. I imagined myself as that bat. I imagined myself flying threw the night sky care free.

In about 2 minutes my body began to feel really weird. It felt like I was getting poked with thousands of little needles. I opened my eyes to see only black and white...What the hell!? Did I go blind or something!?

I looked down and I couldn't see my feet, only the grown. I looked over to Alexander and he was smiling like an idiot.

"You did it!" He yelled. "You shifted!" I suddenly felt my body going up and down. I looked to the side of me and I had very long wings, flapping up and down to keep me in the air.

In a second I began to flip out from being happy and also a little freaked out. I quickly shifted back into my regular form and fell to the ground with a loud thud and a bruise attached to my ass.
