Homestuck: Dawn. Dave's match, or is she?

chapter 4

I woke up feeling nice, and looked over to Dave, who was sleeping peacefully. I took this chance to really study him. He had blond hair, the same shade as mine, and it was hipster ish, and his bangs were so cute the way they almost covered his eyes. He was slightly tan, but not really. He had a nice jawline, and looked perfect while he was sleeping. I then noticed his bear torso and blushed before realizing he was asleep, of course he wouldn't have a shirt on. He had nice, toned muscels. and a six pack, kind of. I stopped watching him just as he woke, i met his eyes and my stomach fluttered. I had only know this kid about three days and i was developing a crush. His eye's were so beautiful, i had never known anyone other than my father with my eyes. 

     "Goodmorning, since we're skipping school, would you like to go to your house and get you some clothes for the....week?" I nodded, showing he had guessed correct. I really didn't want to get out of his bed, it was really comfortable, and warm. But, nothing good can last forever. He sighed and pushed himself out of bed, he was wearing red fuzzy sleep pants. He grabbed some clothes before going, and said, "I'm going to take a shower, call if you need anything, and there's food in the kitchen." i nodded and watched him leave the room. I made the mistake of laying back down, and fell asleep again. 

"Dawn, c'mon, wake up, we gotta go to your house." Dave was kneeling in front of me when I woke, I admit, i was a bit disappointed he had his shades on, but then he handed me mine and i slipped them on. "Thanks." I followed him out the door and remembered we had dropped my car off at my house, and i was a bit terrified of riding the bike. Neverless, i climbed on behind him and wrapped my arms around him. "Geez, you act like your gonna die." he chuckled, I squeaked out, "I am." Which deserved a full hearted laugh. "Just relax  it'll be fine." He drug out the I in fine. "Just drive before I go back to bed." He had cleaned my outfit from the previous day so i could wear them home.

       "That was awesome!" I stepped off the off the bike, sure, my cheeks were a bit wind burned but, that was so fun! He chuckled, "I know, I'm glad you like it." I pulled him into my house and ran up to my room. I filled a backpack with clothes and then another outfit. "Hey Dave, I'm going to take a shower!" I got a muffled, "ok." ran to my bathroom. 

   After a refreshing shower I went down to the kitchen to see Dave sitting at the table drinking apple juice. "I really like apple juice, you don't mind do you?" I giggled and shook my head before pouring myself a cup. I had on a red tank top with a black jacket, black jeans, and my red converse. My hair was in its usual bun, and i had my glasses on. "Should we just go to school late?" He shrugged, if you want." 

"Well, i am new, i can't skip school yet."  He nodded, drank the rest of his AJ and we headed out the door. We made it just in time for our fourth hours, Dave explained everything and said how he thought he should let me sleep. The princepal okay'd it and sent us to our classes. "Thanks for letting me stay with you last night!" I called out, before stepping into the classroom. He knew what I meant, not thanks for allowing me to be in his home, thanks for letting me sleep with him after my nightmare. 

"Ms.luvdan, please pay attention." The teachers voice snapped my out of my thoughts, that was when I realized, I, had a crush on Dave Strider, and i met him three days ago.
