"Lissy!" Elliot's frantic voice said through the phone.

"Elliot is everything okay?" I asked worried as I whipped a few tears from my face.

"No! Nothing is okay, I need you! Everything went wrong!" He said and I could tell he was crying.

"Whoa calm down where are you!?" I asked now freaked out because Elliot never cries.

"The hospital on the corner on Bellevue street." He said and I could here yelling and people running in the background.

"Okay I'll be there as fast as I can!" I said starting to worry more.

I don't have my car. I ran inside the diner to Ryan who had gone back inside to pay.

"Ryan! I need you to drive me to the hospital... like, now!" I yelled while everyone looked around to see me.

He turned around to me confused and ran over.

"What happened!?" He asked looking me over.

"Elliot just called and he was crying and he never cries and he said everything went wrong, and he's not okay!" I said as more tears left my eyes as I thought of all the possibilitys of what might have happened.

"Where is he!?" Ryan asked as he got me outside and back into the car.

"The hospital on the corner of Bellevue street." I said as Ryan peeled out of the parking lot and raced down the roads.

When we arrived I jumped out of the car and ran inside. Once in, the loud yells and running were now more clear. Ryan was at my side and I'm pretty sure we had the same confused shocked facial expression.

I saw Elliot sitting in one of the chairs off to the side and ran to him.

Kneeling down in from of him I asked," Elliot, what's going on?"

"Lissy!" He said while wrapping his arms securely around me and pulling me close.

Tears were streaming down his face and his breath was strained and fast. I looked over to see Ryan at the front desk along with many other people talking to the lady that was there.

A gurnee passed by with a man on it that was covered in blood and looked to be inpailed with something.

I looked back to Elliot and pulled him up," Elliot what happened?" I asked this time more sternly.

"Explosion... In... The.....city."he said as more tears fell and it looked like he was in the middle of a panic attack.

I brought him back to me and held him close as he continued to sob and shake as everyone was going around us. I looked up to one of the TVs that were mounted on the wall snd there on the screen was the building that my mom works in, but it was different. Smoke and flams were coming from the hospital as firefighters faught to help. In the corner it read live TV.

The dots then connected together. Explosion in the city... An explosion went off at my mom's work. Ryan was now beside me starting at the screen intently. His mom worked there too.

That's why my mom never answered me back earlier when I was yelling in the house. She was at work. I totally forgot today was one of her long days.

I fell away from Elliot and sat on the floor as my heart began to crack. Way to much has happened today for me to handle. I can't lose my mom too. The dots had also come together in Ryan's head as well as he looked down to me and Elloit and a single tear left his left eye. He bent down picked me up and held me on his lap in the seat beside Elliot as we all were crumbing inside.

Hours had now passed and Ryan had to go tend to his little sister. He offered me and Elliot to go with him, but I refused to leave, and Elloit said nothing. I leaned over and propped my head on his shoulder and he laid his head on mine.

"Lissy. What will you do." Elliot's scratchy voice said.

"I'll be alone." I said finally after minutes of nothing.

More time passed and Elliot's dad came to take Elliot home. He asked if I wanted to come with, but I protested and said no.

So there I was sitting alone in a hospital that my mom could possibly not even be at. She could have died and never even made it here. The thought made my heart hurt even more.

A hand was then laid on my shoulder and I knew just who it was. Ryan. I looked up to see his sad eyes looking back down at me.

"Come on. You need to rest."Ryan said leaning down to me.

"I don't want to leave Ryan. I don't want to be alone... I don't want to be alone." I repeated quietly as Ryan wrapped his arms around me.

He picked me up while whispering spooning words into my ear as the darkness of sleep consumed my eyes,"your not alone with me here."

When my eyes opened again I was in a bed, but I didn't recognize the bed or the room for that mater. A hand that wasn't mine was draped over my shoulder as I could hear a slight snor behind me. I turned over to see a sleeping Ryan. He looked so peaceful as a little snore left his mouth. A smile made its way to my face as he stirred. When his eyes opened I looked into them and became lost within seconds.
The gaze seemed to grow bigger then I was cute from it as I felt a pair of lips on mine. I was shocked at first but then melted into the passionate kiss as he lightly cupped my face in his hands. I pulled away for air after a solid minute. Both of us were cut off when there was a knock at the door.

"Ryan, I'm hungry. Where's Mommy?"a tired little British voice said from beyond the door.

Ryan got up and made his way to the door before opening it. I sat up on the bed and rubbed my tired eyes. When I opened them again Ryan was holding a little curly brown haired girl.

"This is my little sister Ellie, and Ellie this is Lissy. A 'good' friend of mine."he said tickling her stomach causing her to let out a cute giggle.

"Mommy will be back soon. She has to be somewhere for a while."He said and immediately the events from yesterday ran through my head.

I got up to find myself still in my pink dress from yesterday, and my shoes were by the door along with my purse.

"Come on you two. I'll make some breakfast." He said letting Ellie back down on the floor.

She ran down a set of stairs and Ryan looked back at me.

"Can you take me to my house I need to change then head back down to the hospital." I asked getting my stuff from beside the door.

"Yea I can, just let me make some breakfast, but Ellie is gonna have to come too cause there is no on here to look after her." He said sadly

"Okay." I responded with a forced smile.
