I stood transfixed as Mitch loomed over me starring down hungrily. And it was now I could actually see his face more clearly. He had grown a bit taller and also had a bit for stubble on his jaw than the last time I saw him all those years ago, and his hair had grown out a good bit in a messy unkept way too.
"Hey Lissy bitch. How have you been?" He asked, his husky voice brushing against my face.
"Silent treatment, I see. I just wanted to know if you had an answer yet." He questioned menacing.
I starred wide eyed at him scared for my life and confused as to why and how he was in my school.
BHAM!," answer me goddamit." He said slamming his fist into the lockers centimeters away from my head making me whimper.
RINNGGG! the bell sounded throughout the halls loudly making Mitch grunt angrily.
"We'll continue this another time, I'll be seeing you around a lot more Lissy bitch." He said through gritted teeth before pushing off the lockers and letting me free from his cadged arms.
I just stood there though as the halls flooded with students from lunch. I just stood there. Wide eyed. Shocked. And scared.
I was then shook. Literally shook out of my state of shock as Elliot had his hands around my arms shaking me slightly with a similar expression to mine but more so confused then shocked.
I moved my head up to meat his eyes then without my knowledge tears ran down from my eyes. He wrapped me in a hug as we stood there in the hallway as everyone passed by.
he released me and looked me in the eyes with a confused expression," what happened?"
"He was here." And that was all I had to say for him to understand.
"You'll be okay."Elliot said in a comforting way.
...
By the time gym rolled around I had calmed down thanks to the help of Elliot. We ended up skipping a few classes in the process though.
The gym began to fill up with students and that was our cue to leave our nice spot under the benches and go dress out for the class.
In the locker room all the girls were gossiping which wasn't that unusual, but it was the topic on which they were gossiping over that rattled me.
"Did you see the new guy. He is so dreamy." A girl said from across the room sparking others to add onto that comment.
"Ya he's in my math class. I think his name was Mitch, at least that'd what the teacher called him." Another girl said close to me.
All I need is for him to leave me alone. Its like everywhere I go he's around. I walk out of the locker room with my head held high and my hips swaying from side to side in my very important gym uniform that showed off to much skin and hugged my body provocatively. I'm not gonna let him get to me anymore. If I just keep on acting like a scaredy cat then that will just show him that he's still got power over me. And no matter what he did in the past I'm willing to put on a different face so he doesn't see me crumbling underneath.
When I walked through the gym and to my spot in the back of the girls all eyes turned my way. I guess they weren't expecting little miss Lissy Satire to act so proudly.
Many cat calls when off behind me signaling that the boys liked what they saw. When it was time for stretching I bent down and tutched my toes like I had never done before. I did it very dirtly instead of being the shy little girl I normally am. But that's because I have made a decision. Mitch Stranderd isn't going to get to me anymore.
