The ride 'home' was scilent, long, and painful. The thought of being alone killed me to a certain point where I just wanted to curl up in a ball and as Elliot would comfort me. But i could not ask that of him because he was probably going through the same thing. Although I have no ideas of why his mom was there I did know she was hurt real bad from the sadness that showed on his face.
When I got to the house I saw that Ryan's car was still here. That means that Ellie is probably here too.
I walked up to the door and took a deep breath then exhaling it. I didn't want them to see me at a weak point. When I opened it up the energy inside was a polar opposite to the way I felt at the moment.
I could here the loud music and the sound of people horribly singing along to it. There was also the smell of food that filled her nostrils. Making her way to the kitchen Ryan and Ellie were at the stove making something as they sung to 'do you want to build a snowman'.
A smile tugged its way across my face as I watched them. He was way sweeter then what he led people to believe. I began to laugh hysterically. They both turned shocked to see me.
Ryan was wearing an apron that had kiss the cook on it and was covered in some substance. Ellie had the same substance smeared across her face and splattered on her clothes.
"Its not what it looks like!" He said pausing the music," we were totally not singing that." He added lowly.
I continued to laugh as my day seemed to be turning to the better.
"I believe you. Its just this is to cute. I should have filmed it!" I said trying my best to contain the laughter but failing oh so terrible.
"Stop laughing, it isn't that funny." He said clearly embarrassed," but if you want, you can always join." He said pulling a smug smirk on his face and he took two slow steps toward her.
"Don't even think about it Ryan." I warned stepping back.
He then lunged at me wrapping his big arms around my small fraim and rubbing the mysterious substance on me.
"What even is this?!" I cried as it was now his turn to laugh while still holding me," let me go!" I yelled flailing around against his grip.
When Ryan sat me down finally I was now covered in what ever the heck this stuff was.
"Its cake batter." Ellie answered giggling at our behavior.
"Ya we just put it in the oven."Ryan added before rubbing the top of my head.
"No! not the hair!" I screamed loudly and I took some and in return put in his perfectly sculpted hair. I'm pretty sure he spent hours on it, and at the slitest touch he would cry like a bad y to his mommy.
"Hey hey hey, calm down. No one messes with my hair." He said before brushing it back.
"Well that didn't help much all you did was smear the batter in your hair." I said as if he was stupid which was beginning to show quite prominently.
He looked with wide eyes at me as he ran to a near by mirror. The horror in his eyes was only growing.
"Noooooo!" He said attempting to get it out only making it worse.
"Its okay Ryan, I think your hair looks better like this Because if you think about it, if you sit outside for a bit then the cake will cook and birds can sit on you and eat it. You'd be like mother nature's new husband." Ellie said giddily.
Awww she too cute and Innocent for this world.
"Do you guys need a shower or something?" I asked holding in another hearty laughing fit.
