"What!" I yelled angrily as I stood from my spot on the floor and pushed my way through them to get a coffee.
"Man, you are one mean person when you're hungover." Kade said surprised.
"Ya but from what I've heard she's legit when she's drunk." Todd said with a smug glare toward Ryan.
"I knew there was something you weren't telling me. So spill." I demanded as I poured a might of coffee. Straight black coffee.
"What was that all about? Why was our teacher at your door?" Elliot asked clearly confused to the point of anger.
"Nothing. It was nothing. Now Ryan spill." I said taking a long sip from my coffee.
"Whoa whoa wait. I would also want to know why our teacher was at your door." Ryan pried.
"I already told you. Its nothing! Ugh. I'm going to take a long relaxing shower." I said giving up and taking another long sip from my mug.
"Can I-" Todd was cut off by me," no you may not join me!"
As the warm water ran over my skin I closed my eyes in hopes that this hangover would just go away. I stayed in the shower for a bit washing away all the sweat and grim from my drunken straight last night. By the time I was finished I felt much better and the bounding in my head was almost gone.
Wrapping myself up in a towel, I walked out of my bathroom and to my closet where I picked out a pair of black leggings and a white loose fitting tee shirt.
I plopped down on my bed and starred at the piture of me, my mom, and my dad all together before his last leave.
The only memory I remember of that day was the hug that my dad gave me. It was almost like he knew he wouldn't see me again.
"Hey, you okay?" I turned over to face Jake.
And the only thing that would roll off my tongue was the truth,"no." I finally answered as I turned back over.
"I may not be than close to you and I may not know anything about what's happening in your life right now, but from what I heard your Inna messed up place right now." Jake said as he moved closer to me.
"I've been in a messed up place for awhile, but it just got way worse the other day." I said keeping my same position on the bed.
"You'll be okay. I know it. For as long as I've known you. I've gathered that you don't just quite." Jake added and I soon heard the door click as it closed and I was left alone in a comfortable silence.
A few minutes passed before I decided to do something. I got up off my bed and made my way to the livnng room where all the guys were chilling and making jokes.
"Mr. Smith was here because he's dating my mom. I didn't find out until yesterday when I was at he hospital visiting her and 'he' showed up." I said adding a sigh afterword.
The room fell silent after I spoke so I looked up to see all eyes on me.
"Follow me." I commanded as I walked back to my room.
One by one all the guys filed into my room. Elliot looked worried as he sat down on my bed joined by the company of Kade and Jake. Todd propped himself against the wall and Ryan sat in the chair of my desk.
"Awhile back Ryan asked me who the person in some of the pictures were." I said pointing to a specific photo of me and a guy with his face scratched out on the wall.
Eyes followed my finger then looked around noticing the many others with the same guys face scribbled out.
"That guys name is Mitch Stranderd. He was a really popular guy that used to go to our school. I was a freshmen and he was a soft more, and before then we were good friends along with Mia and a few other people that can also be seen in the pictures. The year of freshman year and the summer before, me and Mitch were an item." I was interrupted by Elliot.
