"So you're back to hanging out with Elena?" Rebekah asks with distaste coming up to me. I nod as I help with the schedule for rebuilding wickery bridge.
"Yes, problem?" I ask, raising an eyebrow at her. She scowls.
"I thought you were on my side after she stabbed you in the back." She pouts. I roll my eyes.
"Sort of still am. What she did wasn't right, but she apologized for real so I accepted and I am in the process of forgiving her." I reply and direct people with wood in their hands.
"Egh. I thought you didn't like doing stuff like this?" She asks looking around.
"I don't, especially because I hate bridges. And heights. And water. But I like the idea of remaking the bridge as better and safer for others so no one gets hurt. So I decided to volunteer my ingenuis help. But I'm more curious as to what you are doing back here in Mystic Falls. I thought you followed Klaus off somewhere?" I question her as I check another thing off the check list.
"I did, and I'm surprised you didn't to be honest. But I came to ask questions to some people here in Mystic Falls. It turns out the white oak tree might still be around. I'm digging up everything on it. However maybe I should've just come straight to you. You're the person people come to for information. you know everything about everything, especially what goes on with vampires and other supernaturals. So, what do you know, Arielle?" She asks. I grin mischeviously and put down the clipboard, giving her my full attention.
"Depends. Why do you want to know?" I ask with a smirk. She cocks her head to the side and glares at me.
"You do know something. Spit it out, Arielle. If you know it could hurt me and Klaus. Is that what you want?" She demands.
"Chill Bekah. First you have to answer some of my questions as payment." I say. She rolls her eyes, a sigh escaping her lips.
"Of course. That's how the gossip of the vampire world works. She needs information in return for information. Fine what do you want to know?" She asks.
"Is Kol 'befriending' Jeremy?" I ask seriously. Her lip twitches as she tries to refuse a smile.
"Maybe." She says.
"Answer the question and give me details." I order.
"Alright he is. A little leeway. Elena will do anything for her brother so we're having Kol watch over Jeremy to make sure she cooperates when we need her too." She says.
"Alright fine what is Klaus up too?" I ask.
"You don't know?" She asks innocently. I give her a 'just tell me' look and she sobers up.
"We're in the midst of tracking down Finn and mother. Figure if we find Finn, we find mother and then we can...dispose of her." Rebekah says trying to remain composed.
"Alright last question. Do you have any clue where Katherine is?" I ask flatly.
"Why would I?" She asks.
"Good point. Alright i'll tell you." I sigh and sit down. "Back in the nineteen hundreds while my point to live was torturing Klaus went to mystic falls where I used a spell to search the earth around mystic falls for the remaining sappling of the white oak tree. I took the sappling and gave it to a man who grew the tree and then chopped it down as wood for a building of some sort. I never kept track all that much of what happened to it after that as I didn't really care. I figured if it was meant to be found someone woudl find it and use it." I answer with a shrug.
"It was you!" She shouts accusingly.
"Duh. Have you forgotten my life's goal was to make Klaus' life a misery? Anyway as I promised the rest of my information. All I know is that if there is anything left of the tree, it is in Mystic Falls. They didn't have a lot of wood transportation for selling stuff at the time in Mystic Falls so they had to use it here in Mystic Falls, and it would have to be in an old buliding but not too old, something made early nineteen hundreds." I continue.
