"I know your awake." I heard a voice snap just as I was coming out if a fog.

"Just now." I opened my eyes slowly craving the taste of blood. Klaus sat on the edge of my bed and wiped my hair out of my face. I could tell by the look on his face, he was disappointed.

I saw a small female. She looked about 23, she stood there not saying anything looking scared. She was a small brunette and some what reminded me of my human self from before. Her small thin frame, the way she shook with fear. This made it all the more fun.

I stood up every pain in my body disappearing. I didn't waste no time latching onto that women and drinking her dry. Its was my first instinct. Her blood wasn't the best I've tasted in my years but it was still great. It made goose bumps form on my arm.

"I don't appreciate you going behind my back." Klaus snapped at me. I had my back turned to him. I continued to drink the female. When I was done I dropped her to the floor and panted slightly, "Why did you not want me to turn?" I was horrible as a human, constantly being someone to worry about.

He stayed silent,"I wanted to change, every since I became human have you seen how many times I've almost died? How many times I'd have to rely on one of you to save me? I would have been dead by now."

He looked at the floor and then at me,"I was a liability." I wiped the blood from my mouth. There was a silence that I hated in the room. 

Klaus stood up and walked over to me fast, before I could process what was happening he smashed his lips into mine. Unlike our last kiss he was more aggressive and so was I. Our hands roamed each others body.

He pulled away and put his forehead to mine as he smiled slightly,"I'd gladly protect you, and I still will love. I have business to attend with Finn. I'll find you later."

He went to walk away when I felt a ping of pain my my chest. I couldn't understand why. Then I realized it, I was going to be alone. I know I have Hayley, Lux, and Rebekah. Now I also have Klaus, but they weren't Kol Mikealson.

"Klaus?" I stopped him dead in his tracks and he didn't day anything. He waited for me to speak.

"Can you compel me to feel less pain over Kol's departure?" He didn't say anything and I thought he was going to walk away. I knew the answer before I asked.

"Pain makes us stronger Ella. Embrace it don't ignore it. Death is," He stopped, I knew he brothers death hurt him as well,"Inevitable." Then he zoomed away. He was most likely trying to stop tears from flowing down his cheeks as they freely fell from mine.

"Then I'll do it the hard way." I mumbled to myself. I closed my eyes, I knew my emotions were heightened. This is the best way.

Turn it off. Its better for everyone.

I opened my eyes and smirked. Let's get this party started.

I walked downstairs,"Hey Ella. How do you feel?" It was Hayley.

"What's it to you?" I laughed and she stared at me.

"You're my bestfriend. I wanted to see how you were doing." Her eyebrows frowned.

"I don't care." I raised my eyebrows. She went to touch my arm which resulted in her neck getting snapped.

"Ella what the fuck?!" I heard someone yell as Lux came running into the room.

"What? Don't act like you care." She was on her knees doing a spell to Hayley.

"I'm getting Klaus." Lux snapped after she was done with the spell. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"And what will he do?" I yawned.

She took a long look at me before laughing,"You're humanity is off."

"Only took your dumbass self a while." I smirked at her, I turned on my heels and walked away. I felt her hand raise to my back I knew she was about to do a spell,"If you try anything on me I will kill you. Stay out of my way." I left the house and went to the one place I loved - the bar.

"Hey Ella. I haven't seen you since that incident." I heard a small voice from behind me. It was Camille. Oh poor sweet Camille.

"You're better off dead, it will save everyone trouble." I sipped my rum.

"Excuse me?" I didn't even bother to look at her. I stared forward and fixed my jaw. My being wanting to drain her but the other half not.

"You're not worth the trouble." I shrugged and downed my drink. I stood up and she backed away when she saw my eyes. The veins were evident and she was scared. Good.

I patted her head,"I'll return later. I expect you'll have my usual ready Cami." I smirked at the fear. I strutted away and I heard her call after me.

"What's wrong with you?" I didn't turn around, I kept walking my smile growing. I was just getting started. This was nothing.

I walked out onto the street and killed the first couple people I saw. I drank my self stupid with blood. Then I saw him. I saw a man that caught my eye. He looked like Kol. I sped over and grabbed him into a alleyway.

"You will be silent and follow me." I began to walk away and he followed.

I made it back to the house and down to the basement. I began to use my teeth, ripping away at his skin. Then began the alive skinning process. It was my favorite after all.
