Leo helped Sensei clear out Kai's new room.
It was the same size as his brother's but adopted the use of a storage space.
Splinter agreed that it would be fun to surprise her with her very own room.
As Leo picked up a box he asked, "How long will you let her stay for Sensei?"
Splinter was dusting the old shelves. "As long as she wants to stay. I believe you boys will benefit from her kindness."
Leo nodded and carried the box out of the room.
Mikey had been showing Kai around their home and teaching her how to play pin ball (Which she was surprisingly good at).
She enjoyed sitting on Mikey's skateboard as he pushed her around, though she would fall over from time to time.
Mikey liked having Lakai around.
She had become his new big sis.
After Leo and Splinter finished cleaning the room. They brought in an extra mattress and bed stand which Casey helped them find. April had donated some blankets to finish the bed. Finally they brought in a moderate sized dresser to complete the room. Leo dusted his hands. "Well it's not pretty but it will do for now.
Leo left to his own room next door.
Because Donnie would give Kai a high dosage of pain medication daily, she would pass out on the couch often.
Everyone was happy to know she was getting some well deserved rest.
After school April came back with some small cans of paint. "I'm pretty sure Kai doesn't want to stare at cement walls for the time being. I wasn't sure what her favorite color was, so I got a few."
Splinter grinned, "Thank you April. I am sure Lakai will enjoy choosing her color."
April carried them to Kai's new room and inspected the boy's job.
She nodded in satisfaction. "She will love this room."
