"How could they just ditch me?" Kai ranted to herself as she packed her items.
"We are a team! We always stick together!" She mocked Leo's voice as she put on her armor.
"If anything happened to them..." Kai slid her odachi over her shoulder.
"I'm going to destroy that Oroku Saki."
She walked out of the layer.
"Even if it kills me."
Their scent was faint which meant they had left a wile ago. She mentally kicked herself for not noticing them leave.
Kai climbed out of the sewers and ran after the soft smell.
It was still raining from the other day. Thunder rolled across the sky and clashed through the dark city.
She finally stumbled upon the building she had alway feared.
The layer of Oroku Saki.
Fear began to rise in her chest as she thought of a plan. Sneaking in would be the best option.
A low rumble suddenly came from behind her. Kai grasped her odachi and spun around. Tiger Claw stared back, his expression seemed restrained.
"We have been expecting you." He said.
She pulled her sword out from its sheath.
"I did not come here to fight." Tiger Claw said reassuringly as he held his hands up slightly as defense. "If I had my way, we would be dancing a different dance."
Kai glared back at him. "What have you done with my friends." Her voice didn't signify asking but demanding as she placed the weapon back in its place.
The tiger seemed to brush off the statement as he shook the water from his ears.
"Master Shredder wants to talk with you."
Kai shuddered slightly at the name. "And why is that?" Her tone became lower.
"If you don't cooperate, we will exterminate some unwanted vermin." He growled.
Kai's mouth curled into a snarl as she contemplated.
"Fine." She growled. "But if I see any of my friends with even a scratch, I will end your pathetic existence."
Tiger Claw huffed and gestured towards the building.
