Brielle's Story
Brielle had a dream. She was running from home, from Easthill. Running away. As she arrived near the border she noticed a crow. Why hadn't she noticed it before? After she flew away the crow returned the focus. It began to follow her. Fly after her. It wasn't a crow,it was an eagle owl the colour of death! It followed her to the palace. As she lay in bed in flew through the window and transformed. It transformed into the man with beautiful eyes. Heart fluttering she leaned closer. As she did the face changed. It was Luther! She screamed. She woke up.
'Hey, its okay, its okay,' said the man with beautiful eyes. Was she still dreaming? The man was like anything she could dream of. She almost caught her breath until she remembered the one she'd just had. Luther. 'W..w..who are you?' She said as firmly as she could standing up to question him. Still sitting on the bed he turned to face her. 'I'm Adam, son of Queen Sunset and Phllip, founders and creaters of Summerfay, inhertited enemy of Mount Talon. But you can call me Adam,' He casually held out his hand. She shook it, how could she match that? Then it struck her. She was with royalty! A crystal palace she fell through and met Adam, the heir to the throne. Not that he looked it though with his black waistcoat and grey torn jeans. 'I'm Brielle, just Brielle'
'Well Brielle welcome to Summerfay!'
'Where's that?' She asked settling down next to him.
'Beyond earth, the sun...not to mention the second star to the right. Let's just say we're on a border to a fantasy galaxy.' She panicked. How far away was she from home? How would she get back? She must had looked faint for he commented; 'Those glass splinters really know how to get to you.' Putting his warm hand to her forehead. She couldn't help but feel her heart fluttering once more. With a mixture of emotions she panicked. 'GLASS?! How long was i asleep for?!'
'Three nights and four days, you dropped by Sunday.'
'I think 'dropped by' seems to fit it don't you?' They laughed for a while until they looked in eachother's eyes longer than needed. She felt a warm glow in her heart, home. Adam reached for her hand. Despite his strength he held it softly. 'I'll let Lexi get you cleaned up, i just wanted to check on you myself.' He let go of her hand and left the room leaving her with butterflies and a giddy mind. Nothing to do with glass. Nothing at all.
Not long after Adam had left a chirpy woman about the same age as Brielle entered. She had a slim build fitted with a bronze corset, a white maiden top and a copper skirt that fell to the floor with a matching copper lily. Her hair was a cascade of gold with mythical emralled eyes. She introduced herself as Lasky, Brielle's lady in waiting.Brielle was shocked, she had never been treated like royalty before even if she was just a guest. Deep down she knew she couldn't stay for she had two broken hearts in a thatched home in Easthill. What would they do without her to buy the daily bread? Then a pain hit her like a thousand knives hit her all at once. She was going to be married off anyway. She couldn't go back. 'I have ye outfit layed out miss,' Lasy said expressing broad daylight into every corner of the room. 'If you want i can do ye corset for ye.' Brielle nodded. She might as well enjoy the experience why she could. Brielle got stripped of her clothes from the days before and was treated to a luxury of a warm bath Lasky had left running whilst Brielle slept. Did she know about Adam? Would it be so bad if she did? The bath was like everything relaxing in the world had caressed in harmony. An indulgence of warm water, something she never had back in Easthill. After, Lasky helped her with her dress. The skirt was a stunning deep navy blue with a top simular to Lasky's and a corset of white cloth embroidered with silver lining. As her hair dried it descended as a waterfall would and was completed with a bluebell chain of a crown. Fashion was obviously high in Summerfay.
'Ye have lunch in the ballroom miss before ye own personal tour of Summerfay.'
Lunch? Had she really slept that long? But another thought dwelled on her mind. As politely as she could Brielle questioned;
'Who may be my suitor?'
Maybe she had tried too hard to fit in as Lasky stopped in her tracks.
'Surely you know miss? Adam requested 'imself.'
Adam? Maybe Lasky did know of his visit then? She couldn't have. Before she could ask Lasky to herself she was whisked to the ballroom for her midday meal.
