"Home sweet home, huh?" A boy yawned as he got out of a car. His short blonde hair blew in the wind as his light blue eyes took in the nice country side house in front of him.

"You finally woke up" a man with black shaggy hair chuckled as he came outside, his light brown eyes meeting those of the boy.

"Sorry dad, I was tired from the flight" the boy replied.

"Don't worry about it Al. Let's get these boxes inside before dark, and we'll make a fort in the living room to sleep in" the man stated. Al smiled and his father grabbed some boxes from a moving truck. Alex grabbed smaller things, carrying them inside.

"It's really home now, huh dad?"

"That it is, Al"

With a yawn, Al sat up from a makeshift bed in a blanket fort. He rubbed his eyes before crawling out, then stood. Seeing a light, he wandered to the basement stairs. The door was slightly cracked open.

He went down to the basement, peaking into a room where light came from.

Only to hear a roar and be blinded by light.
