Christine's POV (Next Morning)
I woke up and washed up as best as I could, seeing that the nurses seemed to be busy gossiping at the front desk and the woman next door to me was still asleep. I got dressed in a loose t-shirt, joggers and uggs. I threw on a jacket and packed my things. I laid back in the bed and waited on whoever was coming to pick me up.
I sat up when I heard my door open.
"Morning sunshine." Mama smiled.
"Good morning, I'm ready to go." I stood up.
"Ok, I got your bag and there's a nurse by the door that will help you out." She said.
"Aight." I walked out, using the wall for support. The nurse smiled and opened the door, helped me walk to the car and shut the car door behind me. I patiently waited for Mama to come back, and she reappeared within 2 minutes.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, I had to sign you out." She got in and sat some papers on the dash board and started the car.
"Nah it's all good." I sighed and sat back.
"I decided to keep you out of school for the rest of the week, Kacey and Chris promised me they would take notes for you and bring your work."
"Thanks, Mama." I smiled.
"No problem baby, you hungry?"
"No, they gave me two pop tarts."
"Well there's a surprise for you at the house, I'm gonna drop you off and stop by the court house."
"Ok." I sighed. The rest of the ride was silent other than the radio.
When we got there she helped me out and to my room. When I walked in, Chris was standing in the corner with his foot proped up behind the other, with his hands in his pockets. I looked at my bed and there were all the clothes and small items Chris and I looked at when we spent the day together.
"Oh my god." I walked all the way in and slowly looked through them all. I was smiling the whole time, Mama snapped a few photos and Chris just quietly stood there, I didn't look at him not once but I could feel him staring at me.
"Well I'm gonna go now, take care of her for me Chris." She kissed my forehead and hugged Chris.
"Yeah I got her Mama." He smiled.
"Thanks again, Ma." I said as she walked out.
"Don't thank me." She winked and closed the door.
We sat in complete silence for at least five minutes and it was killing my nerves.
"So are you gonna tell me why in the hell you mad at me?" he finally said.
"I'm not mad." I crossed my arms.
"Apparently you are cuz I spent damn near 700 dollars on this shit for you and I can't even get a thank you." he slightly raised his voice.
"I'm not mad and that's that!" I yelled, standing up.
"Who the FUCK you talking to?!" he yelled back, getting in my face. I tensed up and my heart beat faster.
"That's what I thought, so you gone calm yo ass down and tell me what the fuck is wrong with you or we gone have some serious fucking problems, you understand me?" he said. I nodded and sat back down.
"Now, tell me what's wrong with you." he looked down at me with his arms crossed. I liked him aggressive, and I liked it in the wrong way.
"I guess it's that I saw you kiss Kacey on the cheek." I said, lowering my head. He walked over and raised it.
"Look at me when you speak to me."
"It was the Kacey thing, that's all." I swallowed hard, honestly scared of what the fuck he was about to do.
"That's bullshit, that's just my way of greeting girls anyway. I'm single so there should be no problem."
"Ok, I understand, and I'm sorry." I sighed.
"It's aight, so can I get a hug?" he smiled and held out his arms.
"Sure." I laughed and hugged him.
"How you feel?" he rocked me back and forth, not letting me go.
"Ok I guess." I rubbed his back.
"You hungry."
"No, not right now."
"Crissy." he let me go and raised and eyebrow. "You ain't ate shit since that happened, you need to eat."
"Ok I will."
"Now come on, don't keep me waiting either."
"Says who?" I folded my arms.
"Me, now get yo ass down here!" He said, walking down the stairs. I laughed and followed.
*************
Chris and I were watching Rush Hour 3, my favorite movie. Caleb had got home and was sleep upstairs. I got scared when there was a knock at the door.
"It's probably Mama." I was about to get up but Chris gently pushed me back down.
"Who is it." He walked over, unlocking it.
"Draya!" that hoe yelled. Chris sighed and opened it.
"Chris!" she smiled and threw her arms around his neck, kissing his cheek.
This bitch really got balls, I got something for that ass, I thought to myself.
"Get the fuck up off me." Chris pushed her off.
"Aww, don't be like that. You mad cuz you don't want Christine to know I'm having your baby?" she looked at me and smirked.
"You dirty son of a-" I started, but Chris shot me a look and I chose to be quiet.
"That ain't my damn baby, I ain't even have sex with you."
"Don't spare her feelings Chris. She's 14 and you're 15. You could do better, like me." She smiled and tried to kiss him.
"Don't try it cuz yo breathe stank and ya pussy do too." Chris said. My mouth dropped to the floor.
That was new, coming from Chris.
"Chris." She threw her hand over her mouth.
"Get the fuck out my face." He said sternly. She stomped up the stairs.
"Chris." I walked over to him.
"Yeah?"
"What was that about."
"She pinning a baby on me knowing I ain't have sex with her."
"Chris." I stared at him.
"I didn't Crissy I swear, if that happened you would've known." He held my face in his hands.
"Ok, but promise me you won't keep anything away from me." I said softly.
"I'll promise you only if you promise me." he said in the same soft voice he spoke with when we first met.
"I promise." I smiled.
"I promise." he leaned in but we were interrupted by a loud bang upstairs. I pray Draya didn't do anything to Caleb.
