"Since the band from shadow kissed was decided to play at our reception."

"Is there anything that you would like to change?"

"I don't know if you had already discussed it or not, but I already found the invitations; I found them online while I was talking to Lissa. If they are ok with you that is." She handed me her phone and I had to admit they were beautiful.

She had chosen wedding invitations with what looked like the gates of heaven on the front. The front only went half way up and that made a pocket for the actual invitation card to slip inside.

In front of the gates stood a bride and groom who were just about to kiss. The invitation card she chose was sapphire blue. The back of the invitation pocket was lace. The front part of the pocket was made of pearlized paper.

The invitation card was decorated with gold and red fireworks bursts. It truly was beautiful, especially  to have been chosen in five minutes during a phone call.

"Is this what you really want?" I asked her.

I liked them but I wanted her to be sure that these were truly the ones that she wanted. I did not want her having to settle for anything other than what she truly wanted.

"Do you not like them?"

"No, no I think that they are beautiful. I just want to be sure that this is the one you really want. Just because this wedding was unexpected by either of us, that does not mean that I want you to settle for anything less than your dreams."

"Yes, it is."

She turned and showed them to Abe, as he was looking at them she said. "When Lissa gets home we will look online for bridesmaid's dresses. That way I will have some kind of an idea of what I want when we get to the stores."

Looking back at me she asked, "do you think that your sisters will mind beingbride's maids?"

"No, they won't mind. In fact, I think they will be quite excited."

"Good, I don't really know many girls, except Lissa. And I asked her to be my maid of honor."

"That is great Roza. What about rings? Gold or silver?"

"Gold, if that is ok with you."

"I actually prefer gold to silver."

Again, we smiled at each other.

"What about your engagement ring? Any specific stone or cut that you would prefer?"

She smiled before saying, "I am sure you will figure it out."

"What if I can't find one that I think is good enough for you, Roza?"

I already knew what I was going to do. I was going to call Stan and have him make her one. I planned on a five-carat teardrop shaped Burmese ruby. With a wave following half way down the side of the main stone, of sapphires on one side, and on the other side a matching wave of aquamarine.

"Like I said, I am sure that you will figure it out."

Oh, she would be fun to get close to for the rest of my life. Abe and I were standing again as she sat back down so that we could all finish our dinner.

After dinner we talked about the wedding more and made a few more decisions. Until who I am assuming was Lissa got home.

A blonde young woman, the same age as my Roza, came running into the room squealing.

"You are getting married!!!! I am sooo happy for you."

She was hugging my Roza so tight that for a moment I was worried about her ability to breathe.
