Chapter 17

"You can trust Dimitri, he is my fiancée for a reason after all. Other than the fact that I love him of course."

"But he could still be one of the spies."

"I trust Dimitri with my life, Adrian. Now, what do you mean by, one of them?"

"Well, I don't know for sure, that there are more than one. But I know, for an absolute fact, that there is at least one."

"Do you know his name?"

"It is not a he, it is a woman. And she has weaseled her way into the Russian branch of your organization." He cut his eyes at me. So, now I knew why he didn't trust me or any of my men.

"Do you know why, and who she works for?"

"She works for Victor Dashkov. As for why, he has convinced her, that he will take over complete control of your organization. And if she helps him, he will give her a high position of authority by giving her all of Russia to control."

"Do you know her name?" 

He nodded. 

"What's her name Adrian?"

"He calls her Tasha, but her real name is Natasha Ozera. That is one of the reasons that I needed to get close to Chris, I needed to know if he was helping her."

"So, it was Chris you were trying to get close to, not Lissa?" 

He nodded. 

"And what did you find out?"

"He's not helping her, he can't even stand her. He thinks that she is behind the deaths of his parents, which she is. She offered Victor her body if he would kill them. While I didn't see the appeal of that offer, he obviously did." Adrian finished with a sneer of disgust.

Roza turned and looked at me. "This is yet another reason why I am going to kill that suka."(bitch)  

I nodded my agreement and understanding to her. 

I knew that she and Christian fought and argued like siblings, but they also cared about each other as siblings. It was one of those situations where, I can beat him up or call him names if I want to, but there is no way that anyone else can do it. At least not without my kicking their asses all the way to the yeblya moon and back, twice. (fucking)

She would most likely be the same with Eddie and Mason. If not worse.

"What else do you know Adrian?" She asked him.

"Victor forced me to spy on you for him, for some off the wall reason he thinks that if I could convince you to marry me. I could take control of your organization, and hand it over to him. I didn't want to do this Rose, I promise you. But I had no choice."

"Why not?"

"Because he is holding my family hostage. He said that if I didn't spy on all of you and find some way for him to take control of your organization. That he would kill them all, and I don't want to lose my family Rose. I am so sorry."

"Are you lying to me Adrian?"

He started crying, "no Rose, I love you like a little sister. But they are my family, and I had to try and save them."

"I can and do understand that because I am the same way I will always do whatever it takes to protect the people that I love. And I believe you. Now, tell me who does he have exactly?"

"My parents Nathan and Daniella, my great aunt Tatiana, my fiancé Sydney and my three-year-old son Declan."

"Oh Adrian. I am so sorry, that you got dragged into all of this mess."
