Chapter 34

I had tasked Mia and Jill with the preparations for Roza's birthday party. My beautiful wife had been training and practicing sooo hard the last couple of months. And I wanted her birthday party to celebrate not only her life. But also the dedication that she has put in with her work and training.

I had done some more digging and I found out that Victor had only been able to scare up seven more men. Which he would probably send all of to capture my Roza. Even though he knew that wouldn't be enough. Which is why, I thought, was the reason behind why he is going to give them the tranquilizer gun.

I had already told my guys what was going to happen along with where and when. There were almost as unhappy about it as Abe, Pavel and I were. They all already loved my wife just like she had always been a member of our family. And I guess technically she always has been since she was not only Abe's daughter. But also since she was born in my boyhood home.

Abe had dug up several pictures of right after my Roza was born. And although I still couldn't remember her, she was just as beautiful a baby, as she was a grown woman. Even when she'd been born she'd had a small patch of the beautiful dark brown almost black wavy hair. And those big beautiful milk chocolate brown eyes.

When I told the guys where the abduction of my wife was going to go down. Ivan had sent someone in to upgrade all of the security for the restaurant, inside and out. He had them instill the best security cameras on the market in the parking lot.

Even though he knew that we could not interfere, I knew that he need to be doing something. So I let him be.

"Dimka?"

"Yea?"

"I have made sure that every inch of that parking lot is covered, that there is plenty of light and camera coverage. Are you sure that we can't keep them from taking her?"

"No Ivan, we can't. For this to come to an end in our favor we have to do as babushka instructed."

He sighed, "I know, I know but that doesn't mean that I have to like it."

"Let me assure you, that you don't dislike it as much as I do."

He chuckled, "yeah, I know that too. How is she going to carry a sword around town while being tailed by these guys without it being seen?"

"Chan got his blacksmith to make a sword especially for Roza. It will fit in the scabbard that he also had made to fit her perfectly. The scabbard will fit on her back like a back pack right up her spine with straps around each of her shoulders. Just like the shoulder holsters for her Glocks it will all be hidden under her coat. Measurements were taken to be sure that it wouldn't be seen unless she took her coat off."

"Nice. What about more weapons?"

I chuckled, "babushka told her to wear and carry as many obvious weapons as possible. Ivan, I have already told you all of this, what's wrong?"

"I'm sorry Dimka, I just don't like using a woman as bait. I know that you and Abe both hate it too but Rose is like my little sister and I don't want any of us to lose her."

"We are not going to lose her Ivan. If I didn't trust babushka's visions then I would take every single one of our men go to Victor's place and wipe them all off of the face of the planet. Then we would hunt Tasha down and through her into a pit with everyone that she has mistreated over the years. But as much as I don't like this I do trust my babushkas vision."

"I do to Dimka..." He sighed.

"Tell me what is really going on with you Ivan, all of this isn't just about Roza is it?"
