"Do I look ok?" She asked nervously.
"No..."
She looked hurt.
"You are not ok, you are yeblya gorgeous milaya moya. You are so beautiful that you make my eyes and heart hurt my Roza." She smiled, a soft, loving, shy and gentle smile. (fucking, my dearest)
Finally, being able to stand, I walked over to her side and took her hand in mine. I was so glad that Stan had brought the rings by while she was still getting ready. I kneeled on both knees at her feet with her hand still in mine.
"Roza, I fell in love with you the very first moment that I laid eyes on you. I watched you as you trained and although you were sweaty and out of breath. I had never seen a more beautiful woman in all of my life. Never, will there be a woman as beautiful as you are lyubov' moya. I love you so much dorogoy moya Roza. Please, would you do me the honor of being mine forever? I ask you from the very bottom of my heart will you please marry me my Roza?" (my love, my darling)
She smiled a radiant smile. "I can't believe that you thought that I was beautiful while I was training." We laughed.
Sobering, she said, "Dimitri, I fell in love with you the moment that our eyes first met. I promise to love you, be yours, honor you and be faithful to you for as long as you want me. Yes, I will marry you lyubov' moy." (my love)
I took the ring, from the pouch that I had put in my pocket, and slide it onto her finger without our eyes ever breaking contact. I stood back up and brought her hand to my lips and kissed her ring, as I wached tears of happiness start to form in her beautiful milk choclate brown eyes.
"Don't cry milaya moya, you'll mess up your make up." (my dearest)
"I am sorry, I am just so happy."
I smiled at her and caressed her cheek catching her tears before they could roll down her breathtaking face.
"I always want you to be this happy, lyubov' moya. Do you like your ring?" (my love)
She looked down at it and gasped. I just hoped it was a good gasp.
"It is gorgeous Dimitri, thank you detka." (baby)
"There is nothing to thank me for. And it in no way compares to your beauty lyubov' moya. Nothing and no one could ever compare to you my Roza." (my love)
"I love you." She said just before our lips met.
"I love you too." I whispered against her lips.
As we were walking out the door she asked, "did you get our wedding rings?"
"Yes love, they are in my pocket." I told her as I patted over my inside suit pocket just to be sure that they were still there.
"Have you looked at them?"
"No."
She smiled mischievously, "ok."
"Why do I get the feeling that they look differently than the last time that I saw them?" She didn't say anything for a minute just smiled even bigger.
"I don't know." Then she giggled.
Once we got in the car I took my rings out of the box and looked at them.
"Did you read the inscription that I had put on the inside of yours?" She asked.
Turning my rings around, to where I could see what it said, I was shocked. It said exactly the same thing that I had told Stan to inscribe on hers.
"Oh Roza, that is so sweet." I said to her as I examined the rings.
"Look at the inscription that I had done on your rings lyubov' moya." (my love)
