The round tables had the center pieces that were medium sized faux moss and wicker square round and heart shaped frames with pillar candles inside clear glass candle holders in the center.
The frames were covered with a mixture of Asiatic lilies, baby's breath, white calla lilies, different shades of blue and red carnations and peonies and blue and red tulips. Of course, to get the tulips the exact color they had to start with white ones and have them dyed.
Obviously not all the flowers would be in one frame. But those were the flowers that Roza had told the florist that she wanted to use. She also chose to use lily grass, ruscus and eucalyptus as filler and greenery. What that would look like I have no idea, and didn't really care.
The only parts of the wedding that I really cared about were the parts where we would say, 'I do'. Then I finally get to kiss my wife again and we will be pronounced man and wife, again.
As for the bouquets, she chose to use the same flowers as the center pieces. The bridesmaids and matron of honors bouquets would be round and simple. Roza's bouquet would contain the same flowers, but it would easily be three times as big as the others with a lot more cascading flowers and greenery. Plus, the red carnations and calla lilies.
The red carnations and calla lilies had become the signature flowers of our relationship. I never would have thought that would happen when I first got Ivan to get them for her.
Myself, the best man and all of the groomsmen would wear boutonnieres of one blue carnation and one red calla lily.
The wedding party consisted of Karo, Sonya, Vika as bridesmaids and the maid of honor of course, being Lissa.
As for my groomsmen it would be Yuri, Emil and Mishka. And Ivan as my best friend since childhood would stand up for me as my best man.
Our flower girl would be my niece Zoya and the ring bearer would be my nephew Paul. And of course, Abe would walk Roza down the aisle while Mason and Eddie would be the ushers.
Roza also decided that instead of rice or bird seed being thrown, she wanted bubbles being blown. So, we found bubble bottles with cowboy boots and others with cowboy hats on the top of them. Also, she wanted one thousand balloons released in our wedding colors just as we kissed.
Today was the day, the day that I would meet my soul mate, my wife and the love of my life at the altar. Taking her as my wife again, this time in front of a few thousand people, for the rest of our eternity.
My groomsman and I stood at the altar waiting for the wedding to start as I reflected back over the last two weeks of my life. It had been a whirl wind but it had all been worth it.
I remember the first time that I had set eyes on my Roza. She was clearly the most beautiful, caring and amazing woman to ever cross my path.
I remember the first time that I touched her skin, the first time I ran my fingers through her hair, I remember every moment of our lives together so far.
That was the only thing, about getting old, that scared me. The possibility of losing the memories of our lives together.
Every second of mine and Roza's lives together would be amazing. They wouldn't all be easy not by a long shot, no one's ever were. But they would all be worth it. All of our difficult times would bind us together and make our love even stronger.
I heard the Mark Wills song 'I do' begin to play, which pulled me out of my revelry. Roza and I had chosen it as the song for the remaining wedding party to walk down the aisle to.
