Chapter 4- We need to talk

Narrator's POV

Mackenzie arrives at her house, looking for her parents to tell them about her day."Mom! Dad! come here!" she screams. "Yes, Mackenzie?" they reply. "I need to talk to you about something...", Mackenzie says. "Of course, you can talk to us about anything",her parents David and Kelly say.

"Something strange has been going on with me", she tells them. Her parents both look at each other. "What strange things?" Mrs. Wood asks curiously."Did you meet a boy?"Mr. Wood asked her. "Eww no! no! no! no! no!" Mackenzie shrieks loudly.

"Hahaha, ok what is it really?" Mrs. Wood asks. "Ok, it all begin when Chelsea, Ashely and I were going to the mall. We got into the limo and I saw a figure, like a boy following us. I closed my eyes and opened them again and he was still there! Then I screamed cause I was terrified-" Mackenzie was interrupted.

"Wow, look at you with your spectacular vocabulary!" Mr. Wood points out. My dad said this just because I have dyslexia and also he's a teacher. I've had it since I was 5. It's almost getting better but I also stutter when I'm scared. Mrs. Hill shakes her head."Please continue Mackenzie."

"As I was saying, I was terrified! My friends scream to Leonarbo to stop the car. I tolb then what happened dut whem they looked, he wasn't there." Mackenzie finishes. "Well maybe you were daydreaming?" her parents suggest.

"And it's: 'My friends scream to LeonarDo to stop the car. I tolD theM what happened But wheN they looked he wasn't there.' ok?" My dad corrects me.

"It wasn't a daydream because it happened again at the mall also!" Mackenzie tells them. Mackenzie then shares her experience at the mall. "That's also why I'm dripping wet..." She says as she finishes the part about when she fell in the fountain.
