Chapter 27- Anything For You

Mackenzie's POV

I was awoken by a voice saying 'She woke up! Quick get the doctor!'. I sat up straight in my bed, shocked to find a young boy around the age of 16. "Are you the doctor?" I ask confused not knowing such a young boy can be a doctor. "Haha no, it's me Matty." Matty says. "I don't know a 'Matty'. I don't even know my own name." I say trying to remember. "Your name is Mackenzie. I'm Matty, your boyfriend." he says.

I think to myself Wow, I picked a pretty cute guy. He smiles like he knows what I'm thinking about. "Mackenzie?" A man says walking in. I'm assuming he's the doctor because he has a white coat on. "I guess?" I say not sure. "How are you doing?" He asks me sitting down. "I'm good, just a little bit hungry and thirsty." I say craving a burger and a Sprite. "I know just the thing. I'll be right back." Matty says.

"Thanks." I say to him as he walks out the room.

"Anything for you." he says which flutters my heart.

Kelly's POV

I've stopped crying. Instead I'm praying. I was just about to end when I hear Matty's shoes coming in the waiting area. Both David and I stand up waiting for Mackenzie's update. "I have good news and bad news." he says. My heart wakes up at the good news part, but drops down at the bad news part. I look at David. "Good."

We say. "The good news is she woke up, she's doing great, and she's hungry." He says. My heart wakes up again and I smile.

"The bad news is she lost her memory and doesn't remember anyone or anything that happened." he says. My heart completely dies down. My own daughter won't know who I am. My own daughter who I've known and token care of for 16 years. I can't help it but cry, and cry and cry.

Mackenzie's POV

I hear a knock on my door and say come in. In comes a very beautiful woman. I think very very hard for a second, then say "Mom?". Just that one word, makes her break down. After a few minutes, she smiles, nods and sits down on my bed. "You remember me?" she says. "Yes" I say.

There's another knock on my door. In walks a very handsome man. I think very hard again and say "Dad?" I think I even saw him have a little tear drip down his face. We talk for few minutes, while they help me remember some stuff.

"What happened to me?" I say. "You got shot. You came her, but you went into a 5 month coma." They explain. "Who shot me?" I wonder. "One of your friends." Mom says. "Well she's not my friend anymore." I say.

Hey guys! Hope u liked the chapter! Today is our first day of summer!!!! Happy123123, KendallJ9, Uscuttie and me all made ASB which stands for Adams Student Body.
