Chapter 11- My Work Here Is Done

Narrator's POV

Mackenzie wakes up from her dream, sits up on her bed, and sees the box of Magical Sunglasses on her bedroom floor. She then gets out of bed and starts to get dressed. She decides to put on a denim shirt, white shorts, and her black & white Converse.

She then walks to the kitchen, and texts her friends to come over. "Hey Leonardo!" She says to him as he was reading a cook book, and trying new recipes. "Hello Mackenzie, would you like any breakfast this morning." Leonardo asks me.

"Um, nothing big maybe a fruit salad?" Mackenzie says. "Okey Dokey! Coming right up!" Leonardo says. "Oh! And will you also set out a couple of snacks please?" Mackenzie adds. "Of course!" Leonardo says.

Mackenzie walks into their living room and starts watching TV. She flips through the channels, and comes to a stop on Dance Moms.

"And on the top of the pyramid, the raining highest scoring champion of the competition...

Maddie!" the TV says.

"Ugh! As usual! Make Nia on top!" She screams at the TV. "Mackenzie!" Leonardo says. "Yes?" She replies back. "Your breakfast is ready!" He tells. "Ok! I'm coming!" She says walking towards the kitchen.

Mackenzie's POV

After breakfast, I hear the doorbell ring. I walk up to the door to answer it. "Hi Mackenzie!" Addison says pretending to be happy to see me.

"Hi Addison!" I say more joyfully to her. "Come in you guys!" I say to my 'friends'.

"Have a seat! Make yourself at home, you guys know where everything is!" I say. Leonardo comes out with the snacks. "Thank you Leonardo!" Amanda says. "I'll be right back." I say to them, walking to get the sunglasses.

I come out with the box, and set it on the table.

"I know you guys think I'm crazy after several incidents. But if you put on these Magical Sunglasses, you'll be able to see the things that I see." I explain to them.

At first they were a little skeptical about them, but in about 10-15 minutes of convincing, they finally decided to do it. "Ok fine! We'll do it!" Chelsea said. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I say overjoyed.

Before they put them on, I saw my 'real friends from Drekland' appear in my living room. "Ahh!" Chelsea screamed. "Who are you?" She said to Cameron. "Hi Chelsea! It's nice to finally meet you!" Cameron said.

"Ahh! What is that thing?" Ashley said pointing to Delilah. "Hey! It's not nice to point!" Delilah squeaks at Ashley, who passes out. "Now do you believe me?" I ask my friends. "Y...y...yeah." Chelsea stutters.

"My work here is done!" I say. "Feel free to interact with them. They won't hurt you, and also you can keep the sunglasses."

Narrator's POV

After about an hour of interacting, her friends went and apologized. "Mackenzie," Chelsea starts off, "I am so so so so SO sorry for not believing you. I now see what you see." . "It's ok, I forgive you!" Mackenzie says to her and everybody else who apologized.

Then her friends went home. After that Mackenzie goes into the Dance Room to practice her ballet. Then goes into the Cheer Gym to practice Cheer and after that goes into her backyard for a swim in her pool.

After all of those activities, she realizes who she didn't convince. Her parents. Uh oh! Now that's gonna be a challenge! But Mackenzie Hill never backs down from a challenge! In fact, she loves them! And Mackenzie has the perfect plan for this one!
