Chapter 15- Is It really you?

Mackenzie's POV

"Is it really you?" I say shocked as I walk up to him. "Yeah, it's really me." Matty says as he gives me a hug. "Omg why are you here?" I say hugging him back. "Well I live here now." He says smiling a little. "Your dad got a new job?" I ask hoping for him to say yes. "Yup, and guess where I live?" He says smiling widely. "Where?" I ask wondering.

"2612 Bomb.com Crt. Los Angeles CA." He says now smiling uncontrollably wide. My face turned from a confused girl wondering where that is, to an understandable girl with her mouth wide open 😱😱getting ready to scream(plug your ears this is gonna be loud...)

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR GONNA BE RIGHT NEXT DOOR!!!!! OMG THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER AHHHHHHH!!!!!!" I scream so loud that I promise people could hear me from Australia! "Yup! I knew you would like it." He say smiling again.

FLASHBACK

"Mackenzie, are you ready for the best roller coaster ride in the history of best roller coaster rides?" Mackenzie says. "You know it!" Mac says. "Ok guys we'll be getting some food. You kids have fun!" David says walking off with his wife.

The two fifth grade best friends head off to the Giant Dipper ride on the Santa Cruz boardwalk. "Ah! I'm so scared! Is there any drops?" Mac asks Matty as she was pacing back and forth in line. "Hey, look at me, look at me." Matthew says as he stops her from pacing back and forth with his hands on her her shoulders. She looks at him and nods while smiling at him as they climb into the ride.

FLASHBACK ENDS

"Hey I gotta go, I still have to unpack but I'll be here for dinner definitely with my family." Matty says smiling like he knew that Mac was remembering that time. "Ok! I'll see you then! And your definitely invited to my birthday party in a couple of days."

Mac says smiling at him. "Mac you don't have to tell me that, I've known your birthday since preschool!" Matty says laughing, "And I have a very special surprise for you."
