Chapter 12- Sit n Wait

Mackenzie's POV

"Mackenzie! We're home!" My mom calls out from the front door. My parents have their own fashion design/ model studio in Los Angeles. Which is also where we live. I plan on taking over the family business one day...

"Ok! Coming!" I yell back, time to start my plan.

I walk to the front door as my parents greet me.

"Hey Mom, Dad I have an awesome, spectacular, great, huge idea!" I say in one breath. "Yes?" My dad says hoping it's not to expensive, even though they can afford whatever it is.

"Since I have two weeks off from school, why don't we go to Hawaii? We can relax, eat, play, put on our 'sunglasses'?" I say. "Wow! I never would've thought of that!" My mom says. "Yeah me neither!" My dad says. "Sure why not!" My parents say in unison.

"Yay! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I say carefully not wanting to mess up. "No problem! We shall start packing tomorrow morning!" My dad says.

I wake up the next morning, and start packing for our trip to Hawaii! I pack some flip flops, all of my phones, ten of my bathing suits, some extra (cute!) summer-like clothes, some tankinis, three 'sunglasses', sunscreen, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrushes and shampoo, and a few extra items.

I start to get dressed. I put on a short floral dress that comes right above my knee, which my dad accepts, so it's good. With some reddish pinkish ballet flats. I also crinkle/crimp my hair and apply light makeup which is really just lip gloss.

I walk out of my room to have breakfast, and see my brother. "Hey Will! Ready for Hawaii?" I say friendly. "Hi Mackenzie! Yes I am!" He says back. My brother is only two years below me. I'm 13 in the eighth grade and he's eleven in the sixth grade, but I love him anyway.

"Hi Leonardo! How are you today?" I ask him.

"I'm doing great thanks for asking. What would you like for breakfast, deary?" He asks.

"Um, how about what Will is having?" I say admiring his buttermilk pancakes and bacon cooked perfectly with extra syrup.

"Ok coming right up!" Leonardo says. While waiting on my breakfast I watch Once Upon A Time and play Flappy Bird trying to beat my score of 123. "No Rumplestilsken don't kill yourself!" I scream to the TV.

"Mackenzie breakfast is ready." Will says to me.

"Ok I'm coming!" I say to him. After breakfast, we all get our suitcases, and head to the limo. We finally arrive to the airport and get on our private jet with a pool, dance studio, a buffet room, my room, Will's room, my parents room, the guest room (Leonardo's room), and a game room.

The plane ride took 5 hours, but we finally got to Honolulu, Hawaii. The hotel was amazing! I had almost everything we had on the plane! It even had two movie theaters. One showing rated-R movies for adults, and one showing PG-13, PG, and G-rated movies for kids and pre-teens.

Narrator's POV

Mackenzie and her family, including Leonardo are greeted with autographs, and waves as they walk up to their hotel room. "So what do you guys want to do first?" Kelly asks. Mackenzie and Will look at each other and smile. "THE ARCADE!" They scream in unison. They all head out their hotel room, and go to the arcade.

"Ok, you guys can head in, and your mom, I and Leonardo will go grab us something to eat ok?" David says.

"Ok!" Will and Mackenzie say in unison.

Mackenzie and Will play in the arcade for hours, and finally her parents and Leonardo come back with some food.

"Ok next let's head to the pool!" Mackenzie says about to leave. "Woah woah woah woah! Stop right there miss." Mackenzie's dad says. "You have to eat first. Then wait an hour because

you'll get cramps." He says.

Mackenzie's POV

"Ugh! Fine!" I say. In fact, the food was awesome, even though it was Five Guys, which I love. "Ok we waited an hour, can we go now?" Will says. "Yes, you can go now. Mackenzie be sure to put your hair in a ponytail and both of you, make sure you don't forget your goggles, flip flops, and towel." My mom says to us.

"Oh, mom and dad! Don't forget your sunglasses!"

I say handing them the Magical Sunglasses.

"Oh! Thanks sweetie!" My mom says taking them and passing them to my dad. "Here Will I got you some too!" I say passing one to Will. "Thanks Mackenzie!" He says.

"And now, all we have to do is sit and wait!" I say to myself.
