For dinner I just wore some shorts, a cute tank top and some flip flops. My Aunt Stella and Uncle Rick took my cousins and I out to a cute little casual Italian restaurant. Italian food is my favorite! In case you were wondering, I ordered gnocchi. Now if you have never tried gnocchi before, I highly recommend it. It's basically a potato dumpling, but it taste a lot better than how 'potato dumpling' sounds.

After dinner, they drove me around town for a little while just to quickly show me around. We didn't get out of the car or anything because it was 7 o'clock and my Uncle Rick had to get up super early in the morning for work. My Aunt promised to show me around more another day.

When we got back to the house, Ryder had announced that he was heading over to the neighbors to play some more catch with Luke and his friends. I just headed inside the house and went straight to the guest room.

The guest room was set up so cute. My Aunt out did herself just for me. What can I say, she is crazy. The walls were white. There was a cute canopy bed with a queen sized mattress in the middle of the room. The sheets, blankets and pillows were all a light colored lavender. The canopy was white with twinkling lights draped around the top. On either side of the bed, were two small side tables. There was a dresser right across from the bed holding a TV. The room also had its own ensuite and a tiny closet along the wall where the door was, which was on the left side of the bed if you were laying down. On the opposite side, there was two French doors that opened up to a small balcony with two circular comfy bamboo cushioned seats with a small table in between them and some more twinkling lights around the banister of the balcony.

When I reached the guest room that would be mine for the summer, I kept the bedroom light off and turned on the twinkling lights. Then I went to the balcony turned on the twinkling lights out there, sat in a comfy seat and started to relax and enjoy the summer night breeze.

I stared up at the stars shinning in the night sky. Looking up at them made me decide to pull out my song journal and write a song. I went into my room and found my journal tucked away into my backpack. As I sat back down and started to write. I was hit in the head by something.

"Ow! What the hell?!" I said rubbing my head. I heard some running feet down bellow.

"Oh my god! We're so sorry are you alright?!" I heard a male say. I stood up and looked down over the balcony. It was Luke and his friends and Ryder. Luke and his friends seemed a little worried and sorry, while Ryder was rudely laughing at me.

While still rubbing my head, I decided to answer them, "Yeah, I'm alright. I mean, I don't think there will be a bump so that's good right?" I chuckled.

With hearing me chuckle and say that I was in fact okay, made Luke smile in relief. "Again I'm sorry about that! I didn't realize how hard I threw the ball!"

"Hey, do you think we could possibly get the football back now knowing that you are okay?" One of Luke's friends asked with a hopeful look upon his face. He had blonde hair from what I could see.

I laughed. "Sure! Would you like me to walk it down, or throw it down?"

"Brynn, I bet you suck at throwing a football!" Ryder teased, yelling up at me.

I stuck my tongue out at him. "I bet I could throw better than you! Don't test me!"

"I would like to see that! I'm betting on Ryder doing better," One of Luke's other friends said. This one had reddish hair.

"No way! I have my money on the girl!" Luke's last friend said. This one has blackish hair, I think. It was hard to tell in the dark from this high up.

I just stared down at them all a little stunned that they were placing bets on me and against me. I wasn't sure how I felt about this. But I ended up deciding to prove that I was in fact a good thrower. I yelled down to them to give me a minute to come down there.

I headed back inside and down the stairs. I decided to tell my Aunt where I was going first so she wouldn't freak out. I found her sitting on the couch with Harmony and Sparrow watching TV.

"Hey Aunt Stella, I'm going to go outside and toss this football around with Ryder and the guys outside," her and the girls' eyes shot up at me with this creepy gleam in them. Before they could question me about anything I spoke up again, "I'll answer any questions later, as long as those creepy stares are gone."

They giggled. Like full on girly giggles. And they all yelled "have fun" simultaneously. Weird. So weird.

I went out the front door and walked to the side of the house and over to the neighbors yard. This particular neighborhood didn't really have fences that separated the yards. I found that a little weird, but hey, I can't tell a whole neighborhood how to live their lives.

I reached the 5 boys and put my game face on, "Okay, so how is this going to work?"

"You and Ryder will both be throwing a football to one of us side by side, whoever can throw the farthest wins," the red head friend said while holding another football. "Ryder will be throwing to Blake," he said pointing at the blonde haired dude. "And you will be throwing to Luke."

I looked at Luke and he smiled at me. Oh my god! Can he like not? His smile was too perfect. It shouldn't be allowed to exist.

"Myself and Josh are betting on you," Luke said pointing to the guy with the blackish hair. "And Blake and Dylan are betting on Ryder. I sure hope you win," Luke said with his million dollar smile.

"Alright, enough blabbering, can we get this going already? I would like to rub it in my lovely cousins face that I am so much better than her," Ryder said dramatically. What a little brat. I was so going to beat him up later.

I gave him a playful stink eye, "You're on Ryder."

Luke and Blake headed into my Aunts side of the yard and waited for Ryder and I to get into position. Josh and Dylan went to either side down the middle to 'judge'.

"Alright, on the count of 3!" Josh stated. I kicked off my flip flops. "1..." I don't know why, but I had a need to win. "2..." I concentrated really hard. "3!" And with that both Ryder and I threw the footballs across the yards as hard as we could.
