Luke walked me back to my aunts house. We stood awkwardly on the front porch. I rocked back and forth on my feet, "I really enjoyed today. Thank you for showing me around."

He smiled a sweet smile. "Of course, what are friends for?"

Friends. It was weird hearing someone say that we were friends. I haven't heard that in a while. It made me feel both happy and sad at the same time.

"Thanks for trusting me with your secret," I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear shyly.

"It's our secret now," he blushed a little. At the sound of OUR, the butterflies from earlier reappeared.

Did he really say OUR secret? Yes, yes he did. Wait, is he blushing?! YES! OMG he is! Awwhh!! God, what is this boy doing to me?

We stared at each other for a few moments until Luke cleared his throat and spoke up in our silence, "Well, it's getting pretty late, you should probably go to bed, I'm pretty sure you're tired."

As soon as those words left his mouth, a yawn escaped from me which caused Luke to chuckle. "You're right. Well goodnight."

I debated on whether to kiss him on the cheek or not but decided against it because we just met and that would be weird. Instead, I gave him an awkward wave goodbye as I started opening the door. "Wait!" Luke stopped me.

I looked at him slightly raising an eyebrow waiting for him to continue. He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck before he spoke again, "The guys and I are going bowling tomorrow night, do you...uhm...do you wanna come along?"

Awh!!! He was nervous! It made me smile at his cuteness. Wait! Is he somewhat asking me out on a date? Like asking me discreetly? "Are you sure? I mean, I don't wanna intrude on a 'boys' night' out."

"No, no! You won't be intruding!" He said quickly. "I mean, the guys think you're cool and think it would be fun hanging out with you some more."

Oh. Right. The guys think I'm cool. Duh. Of course he wouldn't be asking me out on a date. We just met. I'm such an idiot. What was I thinking?

"Sure, I'll tag along." He smiled at that and waved goodbye as he headed off of the porch towards his house as I stepped into the house and shut the door. I sighed and turned around to head upstairs.

As soon as I turned around, I jumped and shrieked. Standing right before me with creepy happy looks, well to anyone else the looks would be considered insane, was my aunt Stella with Harmony and Sparrow. I was so shocked that I didn't realize how close they actually were to me. I unconsciously took a step back only to be met with the hard surface of the front door.

"Soooo.....how was your date?! When's you're next one?!" Sparrow practically shouted in excitement.

"Was it romantic? Where is he taking you next?!" My aunt asked in a weird dreamily way.

"Did he kiss you? Is he any good?!" Harmony added and with that they all sighed.

My eyes widened in pure shock. Date? Romantic? Kiss? Wait, KISS?! What?!

"Woah woah woah, okay, uhm, first of all, can I have a little bit of space here please," they all finally realized how close they were to popping my own personal bubble, which they all knew I did not like having my bubble popped, and they took one step back. Only one. Well, it was better than none. "Secondly, you need to give me time to answer before throwing another question at me. Thirdly, WERE YOU GUYS SPYING ON ME WHILE WE WERE ON THE PORCH?!"

I saw their eyes widen into shock, and then they all had a sheepish look grow into their faces. They knew they had been caught. I watched with a raised eyebrow as they all rocked back and forth on their feet out of nervousness. Weird. That must be a trait in the family or something because I did the exact same thing only minutes ago.

"Yes....?" They all said, well more like questioned, together while they each bit their lip. I tried holding in my laugh. They were so similar it was hilarious. And the fact that my aunt acts like a teenager cracked me up.

"It was NOT a date! So that means no 'next one.'" Well I mean I thought he was discreetly asking me out tomorrow night, but then the mention of the guys wanting to hang with me threw that thought out the window.

"Since it wasn't a date, it was NOT romantic." Well except for him showing me his secret hideaway spot. That part was kind of romantic I would say. But I would most definitely not admit that out loud, let alone tell them about Luke's secret. Wait, OUR secret. I smiled at that thought. "Again, like I said, it wasn't a date, so there won't be a next date, so I can't tell you where he's taking me next. Because it WASN'T a date!" I said in a matter-of-fact tone. Well....I'm going bowling with him tomorrow, but his friends are going to be there as well. But they didn't need to know about tomorrow, until tomorrow was here.

"And no, he did NOT kiss me."

I saw Sparrow open her mouth to speak. But I already knew what she was going to say so I cut her off, "No, I did NOT kiss him either!" Although, I debated kissing him on the cheek but I was so not going to tell them that and have them practically fangirl all over me, because trust me, they would. "So, sorry to burst your happy bubble Harmony, but I can't tell you if he's a good kisser or not."

They all pouted like children being told that they couldn't have anymore cookies. Which surprised me. Wow. My family sure was weird.

Aunt Stella mumbled, "But Lunlee were my OTP."

My eyes widened in horror and shock and my jaw dropped slightly. Yes ladies and gentlemen, my dear aunt Stella just said OTP, and for any of you who don't know what that stands for, it means One True Pair. Wait, what is a Lunlee?!

"I'm just going to pretend that I didn't just hear you say that. And what in the world is a Lunlee?!" I said while slowly walking towards the stairs.

"It's yours and Luke's ship name, duh!" Sparrow said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"You're all insane!" I threw at them while walking up the stairs. When I got to the top, I looked down at them and said, "By the way, Luke and I are just friends!"

I heard them giggle. As I reached my room, I heard my aunt shout up to me, "Friendships are what starts building a romance!" I shook my head and entered my room and closed the door behind me.

I sighed in relief. Finally some time to myself. I decided to take a shower to relax myself. I walked to the dresser and pulled out some clean undergarments and grabbed some shorts and a tank top to sleep in and walked into the bathroom.

After my shower, I felt super relaxed. I laid in bed and tried falling asleep. As soon as I shut my eyes, all the events that happened earlier that day came rushing into my mind. Well, there goes any hopes of sleep.

I got out of bed and went out onto the balcony. Sitting in my comfy chair, my mind wandered back onto Luke. Why would he show me his secret place? He has never even shown it to his best friends, and then he shows me? I mean, he literally just met me. What makes me special enough to see his secret place? I'm just an ordinary girl with a package of a past.

I gazed up at the stars. They were so pretty. Each one was individual in its own way. Just like every person in the world. Well I guess that didn't go for the people at my school back home. They're all the same. None of them seem to think individually like they should. He decided to turn against me so everyone else decided the same. See, obviously individual minds. Hint the sarcasm.

I shivered as there was a light breeze. I decided it was time to go inside and get some shut eye and to stop dwelling on my crappy life. I left the balcony doors slightly open because it gets hot at night and the night breeze would help keep it cool. I laid in bed and closed my eyes and started drifting off into a deep slumber.
