Ethan was bouncing on his heels nervously. It was time to go get the cure. Or, more accurately, steal it from a major organized crime group. Alice came up to him, seemingly hesitating on what she was going to say. "I'll see you on the other side," Alice said, before walking back to her position.
Ethan had been practicing his teleportation skills for the past few days, and had gotten quite good at it. He no longer needed to put as much focus and emotion into teleporting. Taking a deep breath, throwing on a suit Emma created to allow you to blend into shadows, Ethan plunged into fourth dimension.
Ethan jumped from building to building in the night sky, briefly jumping in and out of the fourth dimension. Running in the fourth dimension was a lot like swimming. There was no oxygen, so you had to frequently hop out for air.
"Ok, this is the building," Emma said to Ethan through the earpiece. "Alice, do you have visuals of the building from the ground?" "Yes," Alice replied. "Ok, Ethan, go ahead and beat the shit out of people! Well, not literally, that would be weird," Emma said. Ethan again slipped into the fourth dimension, sinking himself into the building. He reappeared in one of the smaller rooms, but unluckily there was a thug there. Seeing Ethan, the thug whipped out his gun, but to no avail as Ethan teleported right in front of thug, using the instant acceleration to bolster an already swift uppercut. The thug knocked out, Ethan slipped out into the hallway.
Using the fourth dimension, and reappearing only in the shadows, Ethan was virtually undetectable as he reached the desired room. "Ok, Alice, I'm ready for it," Ethan said, slipping into the fourth dimension. He watched as one of the building's walls exploded. Alice had taken the time to place C4 one one of the sides of the walls. Ethan, being in the fourth dimension, could only feel a slight heat as debris flew where his body should have been had he not have been in the fourth dimension. Thugs from all over the building came rushing to the sight of the explosion. Grinning, Ethan entered the high security room.
Having the thugs cleared from the room, the room was much less secure. However, there were still some guards posted, as what Ethan was looking for was very valuable. Slippiing some ninja stars out of his pocket, Ethan tossed them out of the fourth dimension, hitting many of the guards square in the chest as the ninja stars activated their stunning function. Ethan slipped out of the fourth dimension for a breath, not realizing that some of the guards had recovered. Quickly realizing his mistake, he slipped back into the fourth dimension just as the first bullets would have hit him, leaving the bullets to fly through air. Ethan ran towards one of the guards, his body materializing at the last second, leaving the guard no time to react as something cloaked in purplish black light was knocking him about before disappearing to take care of another guard. In the confusion, the guards, predicting where the purplish black light would appear next, started shooting at each other. "Great job, Ethan!" Emma and Alice exclaimed. This was the most fun Ethan had ever had in his life. Ethan, refocusing, sprinted towards the black metal box in the middle of the room, containing Ethan's cure.
Suddenly, a big muscled man came storming into the room. He was intimidating, all sorts of guns strapped onto his body. But what the man was doing made Ethan stop dead in his tracks. He was holding Alice by the neck, gun to her head. "Make any move, and I'll shoot her!" shouted the man. Thinking fast, Ethan disappeared into the fourth dimension, grabbed Alice, and pulled her to his side before resuming his former position and coming out of the fourth dimension. The man, now holding nothing, only got angrier. "That's the guy who was on that plane!" Alice whispered to Ethan. Suddenly, the man pulled out an unidentified weapon, aiming it at Ethan, and before Ethan could react, fired, sending Ethan flying deeper and deeper into the fourth dimension, and farther and farther away from his cure, and most importantly, the girl he loved. Ethan watched as the man picked up both, hopped in a Jeep, and sped away. However, as the man drove away, he heard the man laugh, "Remember the name, teleporting stranger! Remember Seth!"
