Fall Of All Heroes?

     Shortly after Emma's death, a loud banging was heard outside the room Ethan and Alice were in.  Rising up from Emma's dead body, they turned to look where the sound was coming from.  "Someone's trying to break down the door!" Alice exclaimed at the obvious, the door visibly vibrating from repeated impacts from something on the other side.  Suddenly, the door fell of its hinges, sending the door flying accross the room.  Thugs started pouring through, some to retrieve their unconscious master Seth, others to attack Ethan and Alice.  Filled with new anger, the two violently attacked, but something was different in the demeanor of the thugs.  it seemed as their strikes were more conservative, to keep them at bay rather than to kill them.  Once Seth was evacuated from the room, the thugs, too fled.

     Following them, Ethan and Alice found themselves sprinting down a complicated set of hallways in Seth's hideout.  Eventually, they made their way to a big wide open room.  When they made it in, they saw that Seth had regained consciousness, sitting behind a complicated machine and grinning like a madman.  "You sure are competition to my technology," Seth said. "STOLEN technology," Alice corrected.  Seth ignored that statement.  "You see, you have the capability to undermine my whole crime organization with your powers.  I'm not going to let that happen!  Who do you think you are?  Some hero that defeats the bad guy and saves the damsel in distress?  Hero or not, you need to go.  Time to eliminate the competition... and when I continued to think about it, why not eliminate all competition? All military forces? All heroes? Then everyone would be forced to comply to me," Seth explained.  "It's time for the fall of all heroes! Today, with the Doomsday device, all heroes will fall!" Seth let out a laugh, flicking a switch.

     The cubic machine whirred to life, panels opening, creating limbs covered in a mesh of many dangerous looking weapons.  Menancing red lights turned on, acting as eyes, zeroing in on Ethan. "This thing will be unstoppable! It has studied your fighting style, all fighting styles, and it has just the right tools to counter them!" Seth laughed.  Ethan broke into a fourth dimensional sprint, racing for the switch that could turn this killing machine off.  But somehow, this machine could see into the fourth dimension, and using one of its limbs, grabbed Ethan and pulled him back.  Once out of the fourth dimensions, the machine started to attack, swiping at Ethan with many sharp objects.  Barely managing to dodge, Ethan again jumped into the fourth dimension. Expecring this, the machine, predicting Ethan's intentions, swung a limb into the fourth dimension in front of the switch so Ethan would trip.  However, Ethan instead charged straight at the machine, instantly accelerating at a high speed before slamming into the hull of the machine at the speed of a bullet.  The machine faltered before trying to recalculate, but Ethan took this time to repeatedly pound into the machine.  The machine, after some stumbling from the beating, turned its weapons in on itself, aiming at Ethan, but Ethan slipped into the fourth dimension ar the last possible second, causing the machine's attacks to collide with itself.  Taking advantage of the robot's recalculation time, Ethan again started to sprint towards the button, only to see Seth press another button.  Instantly, the robot's directive was changed, no longer targeting Ethan, but looking up aiming at the sky.  As it fired, "Seth laughed and said, "Goodbye, US Military! Ooh, there goes Britain! Russia too!"  Ethan swung a punch at Seth before disappearing.  As there was no gravity in the fourth dimension, Ethan was able to fly up to the missiles, reappearing and chucking down some force fields, throwing them off course, now heading downwards into the ocean.  Teleporting back to e hideout, he looked to see Alice had managed to shut off the killing machine, she had run to the switch and flicked it while Seth and the robot were distracted.  Landing one last punch at Seth, Ethan grabbed Alice and disappeared.
