"So, why are you even helping us?" Ethan asked Emma, while riding the plane off the island to search for Ethan's cure, "Other than me being a nice person in the future."  "Well, other than that, I have some beef with the organization that has the cure, so I am happy to take expensive equipment off their hands without payment and without their permission.  Or steal from them," Emma explained.  "Also, I wouldn't want a human that has potential to do great good in the bad future to be impaired by blindness," Emma said.

"But is it your true intention?  Really?"  Ethan questioned, suspicion thick in his voice.  "Because I'm tired of this."  "You're tired?  This plane has reclinable chairs that serve as beds," Emma said proudly.  "No!  I didn't mean physically tired.  I'm tired of people using me for what they need, then throwing me away like a piece of garbage.  So come out clean, right now.  Tell us what you really want from us," Ethan yelled angrily.  "Really, what I said was my intention is my intention," Emma said calmly.  "I think that's bullshit," Alice said simply, sitting up from her reclined airplane chair.  "I second that," Ethan said.  "Please, if you just listen," Emma started, but Alice cut her off.  "Enough, you either come out clean now, or we force the information out of you," Alice said menacingly, her eyes turning into lasers, burning into Emma's.  "Stop this, this will solve nothing," Emma said, frantic to calm Ethan and Alice down.  "No, we're solving this now!" Ethan yelled with impatience, charging at Emma.

Emma raised her hand, which was wrapped in a strange flexible metal glove.  Upon being raised, the glove started vibrating, accelerating really quickly, Emma's hand rapidly moving back and forth.  Instantly, the air molecules in the plane started shifting, responding to the glove and forming a wall of air molecules between Ethan and Emma.  With a thud, Ethan slammed into the wall, but with a repelling force, the wall caused Ethan to bounce back.  However, Ethan was not deterred.  Together, with the help of Alice, Ethan managed to generate enough kinetic energy force to break the air molecule wall, ramming through it violently.  Quickly, Ethan snatched one of the strange metal gloves from Emma.  "Wait-" Emma started, but to no avail as Ethan put on the strange metal glove, which upon receiving a user, started vibrating.  Ethan formed his fist, clenching his hand with rage, aiming it Emma.  Air molevules around the glove started vibrating, forming a bigger and clearly more powerful fist, it exuded power.  The intimidating punch came flying at Emma's face, sure to destroy her face upon contact.  Luckily, Emma had good reflexes and was good at dodging things, and so she moved her head aside, the fist only grazing her cheek, opening up a small wound that could have been much worse.  Unluckily, the fist slammed full force into the wall of the autopiloted plane, powerful enough to puncture a big hole.

Instantly, Emma, Ethan, and Alice were sucked out of the plane like a vacuum, the pressure differences throwing everything in the cabin out of the hole.  Once again, they were falling from the sky.  Ethan looked around, finding Alice but not Emma.  That was fine by him.  Shifting his weight, Ethan aimed his body towards Alice, nosediving.  When he was close enough, Ethan extended his arm and reached out his hand, linking his hand with hers.  Ethan tried replicating what happened the first time Ethan and Alice were falling, but he was not focused, too distracted by his previous rage.  Every attempt he took to try and slip in the fourth dimension, Ethan and Alice got closer and closer to the ocean, about to reach an inevitable doom.  Ethan and Alice closed their eyes, accepting their fate.  However, just as they were a couple feet from impact, a loud roar of an engine was heard, and they stopped falling.  Ethan opened his eyes.  A hand had reached out to grab Ethan's, saving both Ethan and Alice.  Ethan looked up to their savior and was thoroughly shocked to see Emma strapped into a jetpack.  He was surprised not because Emma was wearing a jetpack, which until now Ethan were pretty sure didn't exist, but was surprised because it was Emma who was the savior.  "Why did you save us, even after how we treated you?  Surely this is more trouble for you than it is profitable," Ethan asked. "Maybe I didn't tell you the one hundred percent truth," Emma said.  "Maybe I am doing this because I am lonely.  Maybe I am doing this for you to prove I can be a good friend. That I want to be a good friend," Emma said, her emotional side showing.  "Well Emma," Ethan said, "I think you did just that." They smiled, before Emma looked off, and they started flying off into the horizon.
