Ethan woke up, feeling refreshed from the dream. He could remember it so vividly. And he knew what it meant. As he woke up, he wondered how far away it was from actually being true, that such a story could really be his life, and he sighed in regret. But then he thought about how close a life with Alice was to being true.
This was his life for many months. This was his life for many years. He was waiting for something great to happen, for fate to give him a chance to do what he oh so wanted to do. He couldn't expect that to happen to him. That even the blind could see. He would just have to pluck up the courage himself.
SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE
