The car swerved as Emma spun the steering wheel to try and throw their pursuer off their trail. "ARE YOU CRAZY?!?" Alice screamed, half berating, half panicking. "Well, people always think that I'm crazy, but maybe it is because I have better insight than y'all! Maybe I can see past the fourth wall!" Emma said knowingly. "What are you talking abo- whatever, just drive!" Ethan yelled. Emma, Ethan, and Alice had set out on the search for Ethan's cure, searching for a "certain organization" located in a shadier neighborhood, but now they were being chased by a bunch of thugs. Apparently Emma had a bad rep with them.
As their car swerved and constantly did U-turns, their pursuers did not waver, mimicking every stunt Emma performed flawlessly. "Time to cut advantages," Alice said, rolling down her window, reaching around with a minigun and firing. The bullets rained down on the car, but it kept driving. "Ethan, try out your new power!" Emma yelled. Focusing, after a while, Ethan managed to pull it off, teleporting to the roof of Emma's car. In a rush of adrenaline, Ethan leaped, pouncing on the thug's car, landing right on the windshield like a lunging lion pouncing on its prey. The thug's car swerved, both from the visual block Ethan was causing and in an attempt to throw Ethan off. Bullets were fired, yells and death threats became louder, but this only added to Ethan's adrenaline, allowing him to teleport into the thug's car. Immediately, Ethan swung a swift punch at the driver, throwing the car off course, before Ethan was seized by the other three men in the car. Punches were wildly thrown, fists flew in a flurry as everyone struggled to fight in such a confined space. Luckily for Ethan, this didn't last long, as Alice had just thrown down a force field on the road, sending the thug's car flying, causing the three men to release their struggle with Ethan to grip the sides of the car. Taking a golden opportunity, Ethan flashed out of the car through the fourth dimension, and onto the road just as Emma's car took a ninety degree drift to allow Alice to step out and fight.
Alice got to work, unloading charges, bullets, and other projectiles from her various weapons, from the regular sort such as shotguns and miniguns to the more stranger weapons engineered by Emma. Based on the dents in the car and the yells from the men inside, Alice's offensive inflicted much damage and injury. However, it was time for a finishing blow. "Take this," Alice said, handing Ethan a force field. Taking hold of it, Ethan sprinted towards the car, disappearing at the last second, reappearing inside the car, dropping the force field, then disappearing and reappearing behind the vehicle.
After a couple seconds, the car was blown apart by the pushing repellance of the force field, breaking the car into many pieces, knocking all four of the men inside the car unconscious, and sending it all in a million directions. It was like an explosion, minus the expellance of heat and light, just the shrapnel. Metal clanged as it hit the concrete before the scene went quiet, leaving the thugs lying on the ground surrounded by parts of what used to be a car. Bending down to one of the men, Alice reached out to a paper sticking out of one of thug's shirt pocket. On the note, there was the initial "S" and an address "That's the place we're looking for. Who knew? The people we were trying to hunting down were hunting us down," Emma said, coming up behind Alice. "Let's go."
