"Ugh this stupid locker!!"
I say while trying to open my lock.

"Can I give you a hand sexy?"
I see Blake leaning on the locker next to me.

"You might want to keep your hand, buddy."
I say sighing and try once more again.

"You're going the wrong way, it's right, left, and right again."

I try and do what he says and surprisingly it works. He smirks at me and whispers in my ear,

"You should listen to me more."

Goosebumps a rise on my skin. He walks off and get stuff out of my locker. My phone vibrates. It's Joey, me and Joey exchanged numbers after gym class.

Joey: come to the cafeteria
Kat: okkk

I remember seeing the cafeteria earlier, so I think I know where it is. I make my way to the cafeteria. I see Hunter and all his friends at a table. I sit beside hunter and take my water bottle out of my bag.

"So how are you liking it here?" Zach asks taking a bite out of his sandwich.

"Uh it's alright I guess," I say shrugging my shoulders.

At this point I'm missing my old school, my old friends. I sigh and eat my lunch as everyone at the table has a conversation. The bell that ends lunch rings and we all say goodbye to each other and I make my way to my locker to grab my math textbook.

I walk into my math class and look for an empty seat. I take a seat at a table for two bc she's no one is sitting there yet. I read over my text book, and someone takes a seat next to me. I see a girl with light skin and curly brown hair. She smiles at me and says hello. She has an Australian accent, which caught me by surprise.

"May I sit here?" She ask me pointing to the chair.

I nod my head and smile at her, I have a feeling she is new here.

"Um I'm Kat, and you are?" I ask not trying to be rude.

She starts laughing, I raise my eyebrow at her.

"My name is cat too," she says giggling taking a seat next to me.

Our math class passes by in an instant, me and cat really clicked. We exchanged numbers at the end of class. We currently wait for the bell to ring. I take out my headphones and play Exchange by Bryson Tiller. The belle rings and we leave class.

Today wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It went better then I accepted, maybe I'll start to like it here after all.
