A little after the wedding reception started my best friend Clara showed up.
"I can't believe you get to live with him," she points to Hunter.
"Who? you mean that toad?" I laugh at my own insult.
She rolls her eyes and says
"You know he's hot you can't deny it."
"No I just denied it multiple times," I laugh and shake my head.
We both walk over to the bar and get a Sprite because we aren't legal to drink.
It's not like we haven't drank before at parties, but we aren't gonna just drink in front of my dad.
We both grab our sprites and walk back to our table. I notice that Clara is zoned out on Hunter.
I snap my fingers in front of her face,
"Don't stare to long or I will have to bleach your eyes after."
She laughs and takes a sip out her Sprite.
"Omg I love this song come on!" She grabs my hand and pulls me to the dance floor.
We both dance and sing along to the song until it changes to a slow song.
My dad and Christine start dancing so do more couples some young some old.
All of the sudden I feel a pair of hands on my waist and I turn around and see Hunter.
"What are you doing?" I ask giving no emotion.
"Well it's pretty obvious, we're slow dancing." He lets out a chuckle.
He grabs my hand and puts them so there on his shoulders.
"This is weird Hunter, we're siblings, well step siblings."
He laughs and just pulls me closer to him. I try and back up but his hand is on my lower back so I'm useless.
I look over at Clara and she gives me a thumbs up and winks.
I roll my eyes and laugh, I continue to dance with Hunter.
I close my eyes and sway back and forth. My eyes pop wide open when I feel hunters hand on my ass.
"Well that was fun gotta blast!" I say and walk away and go to sit next to Clara.
"Yup no totally a fuckboi,"
I say and run my hand through my hair.
"Well just remember you have to live with him," she say.
"Wow that's nice to know," I say sarcastically.
"It's okay you got me,and if you ever want to trade places I'll be totally fine with that."
She says hugging me, I hug her back and laugh.
She's right, it can't be that bad.....
