We all sit at the round table in the restaurant, I see a lot of people wearing fancy clothes. I feel so underdressed compared to everyone.

I sit between hunter and Brandon, my father talks about how we should go and do something tomorrow. Then all of the sudden I feel a hand on my thigh, I look down and see Hunters hand.

I move his hand still keeping eye contact with my father so he doesn't suspect anything.

I move his hand but instantly I feel it back on my thigh. I try and move it but he has a grip on it. I decide to stop and just leave it there.

About five minutes later he starts rubbing my thigh. I get up from my chair and say,

"I'm going to the washroom."

Immediately both my father and Christine say,

"Hunter go with her so nothing happens to her."

I hold back the words on my tongue not wanting to start a scene. But what do they think I am a five year old?

I walk over keeping my distance from hunter. I then feel his hand grab mine and he pulls me the opposite way from the washroom.

"Um where are we going?"

I say trying to get my hand away,

"We are in Florida let's go do something," he says laughing.

I can't believe I'm saying this but he has a point. We are in Florida and we are eating in some restaurant. I would like to go out and do something but not with hunter.

I look to the side and then back at hunter,

"You know I'm right Kat," he says laughing.

I try and hold back my smile not giving him the satisfaction of him being right.

He pulls me to the front lobby door,

"Wait, we can't just leave are parents are gonna wonder about us."

I say stopping in the front of the door.

I think of what we could say and a plan that would work.

"Oh I have an idea what if we-"

I'm cut off by hunter saying

"I texted my mom saying we are going out."

Did he really just cut me off, but is his mom really that chill, just letting his son and step-daughter wander around Miami.

"She texted me saying k," hunter says.

Oh wow she really is that chill, I wonder how she convinced my dad to be okay with it.

Still holding on to my hand hunter pulls me out the doors of the lobby and there we stand. In the middle of downtown Miami.

This is gonna be one weird night....
