This place is a lot busier than I thought. Is this really what people come here to do? People come here to get drunk and hook up with people.

"This place is lit asf," hunter say loudly trying to talk over the music.

I just nod and look around,

"Hey are you okay we can leave if you want?"

Hunter says looking at me, I turn my head and say'

"No no i want to stay."

He nods and tells me he's gonna go to the washroom. He starts walking away and I lose him in the crowd. I decide to go to the bar to take a shot.

I ask the bar tender for a shot of tequila, it's not like I've never drank before. He slides it across the counter and I grab it and take it. The liquid burns my throat like it usually does. You would think by now I would be used to it.

I leave the glass on the counter and ask for another one. He slides me another one and I take it. The smell of the liquid makes my skin tingle.

I only usually take one shot this is new for me but I like it. I sit on bar stool and wait for hunter. To be honest this is really boring, I rather go to a party. I decide to just text hunter and tell him I'll take a uber to the hotel and I don't feel well.

I get off the bar stool and walk out of club, i take my phone out of my pocket to realize that it is dead.

"Are you fucking kidding me,"

I clutch my phone and walk down the sidewalk.

I guess I will have to walk back to the hotel it's not that far. As I walk down the street I pass a alley where a bunch of guys are smoking. I look away and continue walking.

"Mami why don't you come here and hang with us for a bit."

The man says yelling from the alley, I reply

"I'm fine thank you."

I continue walking but stop when I'm being held back from someone holding my wrist.

"Let go of me," I say trying to pull my hand away.

He has a tight grip on my wrist and has his hand on my lower back stopping me from going anywhere.

He moves his face closer to me so his face is extremely close to mine. His breathe reeks of alcohol.

"Hey let go of her," I hear hunters voice and instantly the man lets go of my wrist and falls to the ground. I guess hunter punched him or something.

I look up at hunter who is walking toward me,

"Omg Kat are you okay?"

I hug him,

"Thank you."

If you think about it if hunter didn't knock the guy out I could've been raped or even dead by now.

He wraps his arms around me,

"Are you sure you're okay?"

He asks still holding onto me, I nod my head and let go of hunter.

"Can you call a uber," I ask not wanting to walk any farther.

He nods his head and walks to the side and calls the uber. He comes back and we see the uber pull up next to us. That was fast, I guess it was in the area. We both get in the car and hunter tells the driver where to take us. It's been a long night all I wanna do is go to the hotel and sleep. I lay my head on the window and close my eyes too lazy to keep them open any longer. And I'm an instant I am out like a light.
