"Where the hell have you been?"
Hunter says getting up from the couch as I walk through the front door. It's only five o'clock. My brain starts hurting as I try figuring out why he's loosing his shit.

"I went out for lunch with someone, why the fuck are you yelling?"
I say raising my voice a little as well.

"Well you could have at least called, I was worried you got kidnaped or something!"
He says pacing back and forth.

"Hunter I'm not twelve, you have to stop treating me like a child,"
I say pushing past him stomping up the stairs.

I walk to my room and slam my door, currently "our" parents took Ashton and Brandon to the pool so it's just me and hunter. I fall into my bed and stare up at my ceiling. I push out a sigh and just think. After about 10 minutes of just thinking I hear a soft knock on my door. Knowing that its hunter I say nothing. Thinking he would get the clue that I don't want to talk to him he still opens my door.

"Kat..."
He says poking his head through the door.

"What do you want?"
I say while I scroll through my Instagram feed.

"I want to apologize for lashing out on you earlier."
He says walking in taking a seat on the edge of my bed.

I look up at him,
"I accept your apology, but you gotta stop being more protective then my own father."

I laugh at the last part as I turn off my phone. Hunter chuckles as well and then we both go silent.

"So,"
I say playing with my fingers.

"So.."
He says looking around my room scratching the back of his neck.

He gets up from the bed and walks over to my desk. He points to a concert ticket pinned to my cork board.

"You like The Neighbourhood?" He says still pointing to the ticket as he turns his head towards me.

"Of course, wait do you?"
I say getting a little too excited during this conversation.

"I love The Neighbourhood,"
He says smiling at me.

"My favourite song is Single, who am I kidding I love the whole album."
He says laughing a little as he continues to walk around my room.

I would've never though Hunter was the type of person to listen to The Neighbourhood.

"Do you listen to blackbear?"
He asks me.

I practically jump off my bed,
"I love blackbear!"
I say while he starts laughing at me.

We both hear the front door open and hear Ashton yell that everyone is home.
I laugh and go downstairs to say hello to everyone. I see that they have brought pizza home for dinner. I get plates out of the cabinets and put them on the table.

Everyone takes a seat at the table including Hunter. We each take a slice of pizza and start eating. Ashton tells us all about the pool.

We finish eating and my dad offers to take Ashton, Brandon, Hunter, and I for dessert. Of course we all wanted ice cream so we all said yes.

We are currently sitting in the car driving to the nearest ice cream shop as the radio plays quietly. I look out the window and stare at the passing by scenery. I slowly drift into my thoughts as I watch the other cars pass by.
