6 days. 

6 long hard days. 

It had been 6 days since Damon last came online. Everyday I left him a message saying I missed him. I told him I loved him one more time. 

It was getting so hard to concentrate on anything. I wasn't even able to stay ahead in class anymore. This man was constantly on my mind. If I was in doubt about being in love before, I was 100% sure now. 

I poured pepper in my dad's coffee.  That's how disoriented I was. 

 My mom noticed I was "off my rails" as she put it, but didn't push it. Missy, on the other hand, was worried and acting on it. 

"C'mon, Ella. Just forget him. Please?" She begged me.

  She was getting frustrated to see me like this, she wanted me to get over this "online crush" as she put it.  

  I turned over to glare at her. I knew she was just looking out for me and it was getting silly to keeping hoping because I had a 'feeling'. But I just couldn't. I wasn't able to let go.  I was even getting mad at myself and Damon, for fucking with my head.

 I looked at Missy for a second, and answered. "Ok.".

 "OK? Ok you'll quit?" She asked hopefully.

 "No, But you wanted to hear that so I said it." I said with amusement in my voice. 

 Missy rolled her eyes at me. "Ok, fine. I know when I'm beat. Do what you want." 

 I smiled at her. "Thank you, Missy." 

That night, I logged on to Whittychat as per routine to check if Damon was there.  My heart got stuck in my throat as I saw his name. Online. 

Damon17: Hey babe, I'm sorry, I been gone for so long. 

Damon was back. My heart started beating faster, and I blinked back tears. I was really happy. I could feel the happiness in my bones. I smiled real big like an idiot as I typed back. 

Lil Star: Omg, is it really you? You're back?? 

I couldn't hold my excitement back. He was back. I felt like squealing like a little girl. But, I don't squeal. 

Damon17: Lol, Yes baby it's me..I missed you. :*

Lil Star: I missed you so much too! Where were you? 

Damon17: I'm sorry, mami. My mom was in accident and I had to take care of her. 

Oh dear. His mom in an accident? I hope she was OK.

Lil Star: Oh my God, is she ok? :(

Damon17: Yeah, she's fine now. But she needs to rest. How are you? You're still here? I thought you'd have left and dumped me by now, lol.

Lil Star: ofc I'm still here! I knew you were gonna come back. You told me so..Plus I couldn't leave. 

Damon17: You waited for me? But why? 

Why? Guys are so dumb sometimes? I swallowed the lump in my throat and decided to tell him why. 

Lil Star: Because I love you.. 

 Oh god my heart was in my throat, I hope he doesn't get weirded out. I felt my fingers shaking.  

Damon17: Do you really?
