'Bout time.

Walking down the familiar path, I spotted my somewhat friends already goofing around on our usual picnic table.

Christina being a hoe.

Anita being Anita. More than usual.

"Hey, Anita. Hey, Crack-whore!" I beamed at both at them, sitting down.

"Aw, it's my favorite hater!" Tina tried hugging me.

"Ew, get off me, Tina." I pushed her off.

Tina gasped dramatically, and pressed one hand on her very exposed cleavage. "Please go back to calling me a crack whore."

I shook my head and flashed her a smile. "Nope."

Shifting my attention to Anita, I looked at her playing with her taco bowl.
"Earth to Anita? What's wrong with you?"

"Oh, she's all mopey, 'cus she slept with George. Your cousin that is." Tina spoke up, as she took a bite of her hot dog.

"Cristina!" Anita exclaimed. "He's her second cousin." She mumbled.

"Annnd the problem with that is?" I inquired.

"Hehe. Tell her, Anita."

"Yes, please tell me. I need a break from thinking about my life." I pleaded.

"Well.." Anita started.

"Oh hey! Doesn't he have a girlfriend??" I interrupted her.

"Exactly! And you guys call me a hoe." Tina snapped her fingers.

"You had the hot dog of the hot dog man to get that hot dog you're eating, so shush it." I commented, shifting my attention back to Anita.

Anita took a deep breath before continuing. "Well, you see. They broke up. Again. So, he came over to my place to vent. And, I was also kind of sad, because of this whole thing with my mom's chemo. "

"So, you two slept together."

"Yeah, but now he's back with her, and won't even talk to me."

I looked at Anita and rolled my eyes. "Seriously? What did you expect? God, I don't get why people sleep with each other, when they're 'grieving'. It's stupid. It's more like, 'Oh no. I'm sad, but I'm horny even more, so let's get naked and fuck.'"

"No offense to you though."I added.

"None taken." Anita sighed. "You're right though. Nothing comes good out of it. Or else that's so in my case."

I was about to speak up, but Tina's loud straw drinking noise interrupted me. We both looked at her.

"Seriously?" Anita raised her eyebrow.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Carry on." Tina blushed.

"Anyway, I'm not trying to sound judgmental towards you, Anita. But, you should just tell him how you feel. Don't let him chicken out. "

"You're right. He does this every time she leaves him." She said fiercely.

"What?! You been his rebound before too?" Tina exclaimed in surprise.

I kicked her foot under the table.

"I mean, girl, looks like he's got a type too when it comes to rebounds." Tina winked at Anita, and she seemed unfazed.

"Not helping at all, Tina doll." I mumbled.

"Right! I mean why wouldn't he? Your red hair is to die for, and you have gorgeous boobs." Tina carried on, trying to help in her own chatty way.
