Chapter 1

"Congratulations,  you just got the leading female role. We'll start filming after we get the leading male," says Neil Burger to me. He shakes my hand and gives my shoulder a squeeze.

"I'm looking forward to you and maybe you can help me to give auditions for our leading male?"

Finally I could find my sound, and I answer him rather too excited. "Yeah! Sure! Count me in! Just tell me when and where, I'll be there!"

I cringe after that because I sound too excited and that's not good. I have to be professional and look tough. This part is not an easy one, not the usual part I played before. This is totally different. And also Neil Burger is an amazing director, I have to look good or he will think otherwise and kicks me out from the leading female parts.

But, Neil just chuckles instead. I breathe out my relief.

"That's the spirit! I'll get in touch with you if we have an audition. See ya, Shailene."

Finally, he says my name. It sounds good hearing my name. I can't wait to get out of this room. And this time I have prepared myself, I nod to him and get out of the audition room as if some dogs are chasing me. I close the door and sigh.

My name is Shailene Woodley, 22 years old, a soon to be rising stars. And I just got the part as Beatrice Prior in Divergent movie. I feel like I could go screaming at the top of the world. And wait!

That's a good idea!

This building has a rooftop and I guess I could go there.

I turn my head left and right to make sure no one see me. I go to the left and find the stairs to the rooftop. I start running to go there and find myself seeing the most breathtaking rooftop garden. I'm pretty sure it is already evening because the sun is setting. I close the door and move forward, enjoying the view and the wind that is brushing my blonde hair lightly.

Oh my god!

There is a set of candle light dining just in the middle of the garden! I guess someone famous gonna propose here because this building is limited for public. The setting is so romantic, I can imagine I got proposed here. If only I had a boyfriend, nah, I'm too young. Marriage is not for me, for now. It seems like I forgot something. Hmm, what is it?

The screaming, you idiot! Oh right!

I move around the garden, giving ooh and aah whenever I see a beautiful kind of flowers. I finally reach the edge of the rooftop and then I close my eyes.

I pray to God, thanking Him because he gives me the chance to play this part, thanking him for all the roles that I have played before.

Okay, I'm ready to scream. But, just before I scream, I hear the door opens and a male voice, "What the f*ck are you doing here?!"

Oh shit.
