Chapter 5

Theo's POV

Kriiinnnggggg~!

The sound of my alarm wakes me up from my hot wet dream, *cough* I mean, beautiful dream, did I just say it out loud?

Oh come on, why is it already morning?

I think I just fell asleep awhile ago.

I knock out my alarm and thanks to God, this time it falls silent immediately without me having to chase it or it will ring until the end of the world without someone turns it off.

It's my brother's birthday present for me. He gave me an alarm clock which can run if the owner didn't turn it off immediately. It will stay ringing with the annoying sound and you can hear that sound from everywhere. The reason he gave me this alarm was because I'm not a morning person. It is so hard to wake me up.

I would probably still sleeping if there was  a storm. I sleep like a dead person, said everyone who knows me.

I pretty much would prefer to sleep than go jogging. There are no activities for me until 9 AM.

Anyway, what I am going to do today?

I recall my days wondering what I have done that I have activities on Saturday. Funny, I don't remember anything. Let's go check my phone then.

Calendar....hmm..

Saturday.... Audition with Neil Burger.... at 1 PM.

Audition? When did I...

Oh! I remember now, it was the day I met her, Tris. She's pretty and I would like to know her. I'm gonna ask her out if I meet her again.

Where was I?

Oh right, the audition. 1 PM.

I look at the clock.........

.......................and feel relieved that it is only 10 AM. Did I just give you a heart attack? Hahaha, I got you.

I am quite nervous about the audition. I feel like I have to get this part, it would be an advantage for my career. I love acting, I love my job.

I hear little footsteps coming from outside my bed, I think I know who it will be. I quickly pull my blanket and cover my body. I pretend to be sleep. Then my bedroom's door opens.

"Uncle Theo!! Wake up! Wake up!"

Two little children, one boy and one girl, both are 4 years old, jump into my bed and start jumping on my body. I still play dead.

"Uncle Theo! Come on! Let's go play with us! Mommy said you agreed to take us to the playground this morning!" Clary, the little girl screams into my ear.

Did I? I have been busy lately, doing preparations for the proposal. I don't realize I haven't spent enough time with them. And the truth is I miss them. Playing with then, won't hurt much right?

Anyway, I still pretending to be asleep.

"Leo, I guess he won't wake up...Come on let's go...." Hearing her voice makes my heart hurt. Just as they are going to leave my body, I grab them both and lean back into my bed. They scream happily and trying to let go.
