Theo's POV

Wait, why is she reacting like this? I might just know her for 5 days but I know it when someone lied.

"Stop it Shai. I know you remember about last night."

Why did she deny it? Her smiles fades away from her face. She bites her lips and looks away from me.

"....Fine. I remember. So what?"

"She is my ex girlfriend."

"It isn't my business."

I remember she also reacted like this yesterday. She sounds jealous....isn't she? I don't know why but this makes me happy.

"Are you jealous?" I can't hide my smile. I poke her stomach and she slaps my hand away.

She stares at me with a disbelief look. "What?? No! Eww! Why would I be jealous?" She makes a disgusted look.

I laugh hard at her reaction. She seems annoyed by my reaction so she punches my shoulder.

"You are a good looking man, Theo. But not everyone would fall in love with you. Me for example."

She pats my shoulder as if trying to comfort me. I sit closer to her and wrap my hand around her shoulder. She stiffens but quickly hides her reaction. I chuckle lightly.

I lean closer to her ear and whisper those words to her small ear.

"I will try harder then.... I haven't used all my charm to please you." I use my British accent that I know will make other girls melt after hearing them.

Shai's reaction is surprisingly new to me.

She touches my hand and unwraps it from her shoulder but she stays close to me. She looks into my eyes with her big eyes and then I'm lost in her eyes..

Her mouth curves into a genuine smile which I like so much. She stares at my mouth and suddenly this place becomes hotter than before. She pinches both of my cheeks with a playful gesture and says, "I would like to see it. Maybe you could break my rules for not dating my co-star."

So...she has this silly rule huh? I will make her break her stupid rules, besides the reason we make rule is to break them right?

"Challenge accepted."

I give her a shock by circling both of her hands and hold it still on my cheek. She makes no reaction like trying to pull away. Her hands feel warm and if I could, I wanted to stay like this forever.

We are staring at each other's eyes now. The world seems just a blur to us. I'm still holding her small hands, her skin feels so soft. I've never had this feeling before, not once when I was with my ex. For the first time in my life, I feel certain in my life. And that's because of the woman in front of me.

"Can we start over?" Finally I break the silence between us. She questions me with her eyes. I wrap my fingers around hers and I bring our joined hands to the space between our bodies.

"Start over... What do you mean?"

I realize if I want to win her heart, it won't be easy. I believe that every relationship will last forever if we started as friends. So now, I'm going to be her friend. Even if it kills me.
