Can't you see that I'm laughing to hide ?
Can't you see why my smile is so wide ?
I'm smiling to hide; shredded tears ,broken past
Continuous sadness and a world falling apart.
Can't you see why I'm wearing a smile ?
To shield me from a world, hide me from pain
Engulf me ,protect me ,try to keep me sane .
My world is a river, ever flowing ,ever changing
And I'm lost wondering , with nowhere to go
No shelter, no home , no place to roam .
I'm stuck in my head , tormented by my mind
I'm smiling to hide , deep wounds not in sight
Will you drop the knife and cry outloud ?
No I'll continue to smile ,like this world is just fine .... Like this world made no crime.
