And to my forever top favorite book, my forever favorite character that I'm madly in love with that it hurts to think he's not real, Hayden.  I think it kinda applies to him, since he too have a mental illness❤❤

Am I a monster ?
Is it true?
Why do they always have to be
so
cruel.

It's so simple yet no one understands
Laughs thrown on faces, disgust glimmering in eyes
Do I deserve it? The mocking glares?
The trips and bullying
The stones that hurt
The cries afterwards

Why is it so hard to get
that my brain is different

As changing as waves
Sometimes tides, feelings cold, numb from pain
Sometimes floods, twice as strong my feelings become

As beautiful as a baby
Bravely conquers its chubby weak self, stands strong without help
But it Sometimes Tumbles, shakes and falls down
Grows restless from crawls, grows tired from strength

Like chess tiles,
Black and white both equally beholds  one step lightness overflow
Back step its darkness suffocates your soul

Am I a nutjob?
Is it true?

Deep down the truth we knew,
No such thing you are
None of that is true
It's just us who fear
To ask for

Mental cure.

Mental illness is serious. It isn’t something to just brush off, it is a fact. Estimates are 1 in 5 people with bipolar disorder commit suicide and 1 in 2 people (yes, that’s half) attempt it. And, of course, there are hospitalizations, work absences, destroyed families, having to go on disability, and so on. This is serious stuff people. It is not a runny nose.

Why Do People with Mental Illness Have to Justify Themselves?
Why is it that just because they see a psychiatrist and you see a neurologist your disease is real and theirs is not? Why is it you assume they can will their disease away while you can’t? Why is it that you can expect them to bring you chicken soup when you get the flu but when they get sick they  can’t even expect that you’ll stick around?

I do understand that people don’t know they are being hurtful. People are trying to help. I get it. But here’s the thing, mental illness is just as real as anyone else’s. Please don't downgrade it or think it's any less.
