Hastily I fill two cups
Go running to my porch
And there I see it, my lover, shinning through the eerie darkness
Sparkling like glitter beautifying the black blanket that fully covered the sky.
Hello my darling,
To you I pave my soul,
Abandon my mind,
Let you take control.
I give you a piece of myself everytime you knock on my door,
I tell you a dark secret no one would ever know.
"give me another bit, set your tears free and let it pour like rainfall. For me open your heart, allow me to take away the pain."
You say as your light upon my face fall,
And suddenly to you I become vulnerable,
Naked of masks I lay there pouring stories from depths of my heart.
Tears rolling down my cheeks,
and words flowing desperately as though it's a prisoner who just escaped its cell.
To you I tell anything and everything,
I spill so much words till I become void of what you're not familiar with.
After I'm finished we take our drinks,
Time with you passed quickly and soon the sun will take your place,
You take a sip of your drink and kiss me goodbye, tell me we later again will reunite.
I stand up and slip on the mask they call Pretty,
Watch the sun rays swallowing last piece of your shadow,
Then slowly I raise my cup to the sky
"cheers to you my darling, till we meet again in the dark. Farewell to what you took of me with you,
Looking forward to your next visit
When I lay more of my real self on your doors."
