A breath of relief filled the air once Sam saw the knife and apple laying in the ground. Sure her story didn't check out entirely seeing how Sam was gone for a couple minutes but it explained the blood she was washing off on her hands. He picks up the knife noticing a few drops of blood on it. He then picks up the partly cut apple. Placing the knife in the sink he then throws the apple in the trash before grabbing another one from the fruit bowl on the counter top. He quickly places his gun back in his jeans before making his way back to Millie who sat on the couch picking at her wrapped hand.
"Your going to ruin that if you keep picking at it." Sam simply states after he makes it back over to her. He holds the apple out to her watching her take in gently from his hands. She looks down at it running her thumb over the smooth surface before looking up at Sam.

"Who was it?" She asked looking over at Sam with pleading eyes as he took a seat in the chair again.
"It was a person in apartment A-13. Honestly you don't want to see it." Millie nods at the few information before something clicks.
"Funny, no one lived in that apartment. The people that used to live their moved out along with a couple more people. That room was for rent." Millie spoke more to herself then Sam. Realizing what she was saying though Sam found it weird as well and noted to tell Dean later.
"How many people are left in this complex?" Sam asked knowing this creature didn't leave this spot yet and might be picking off everyone inside.
"Well there's me, Wendy, Miss Anderson and her husband Will but their moving out first thing tomorrow, the Smith family but their out of state at the moment, Thomas, and Fred. Well then you." Millie lists off making Sam nod his head and memorize the names so he can tell Dean them.

Sam's phone goes off again making him reach into his pocket. He pulls it out and see's Dean's name on the screen.
"Need to take that?" Millie asks making Sam look up at her.
"If you don't mind." He spoke making Millie wave him off with a small smile. Sam returns it and walks off towards the small hallway and into Millie's bedroom. Only when Sam sat down on the bed did he answer his phone.
"Wow started to think that was your body on the news." Dean's voice spoke making Sam let out a unamused chuckle and small smile.
"So get this, the room where the body was found wasn't even rented out." Sam states looking down at the ground.
"Okay and your point is?" Dean asked from the other end of the call.
"My point is, what if it can only hunt here." It was silent on Dean's part making Sam wait a couple seconds.
"So what, the creature using those people as a chew toy can only hunt there?" Sam sighed and pushes himself up off the bed.
"It would make since, this is the only place it's happening, Dean. All the bodies found where in their apartments the same way. This can't be a coincidence." A sigh was heard from Dean. Sam paced back and forth around the room waiting for his brother to say something.

"Your still going to stay there?" Sam paused for a moment the question taking him by surprise slightly.
"I have to Dean, I can't just let more people die." Sam spoke hearing Dean sigh again.
"Fine, but I'm coming over there." With that Dean hung up.
"No. Dean? Dean!" With a sigh Sam turns his phone off and walks out of the bedroom and into the living room. He sees Millie their apple gone and watching TV. She turns though seeing his form walk into the room.
"You okay?" She asked seeing Sam's tired and tense form.
"I'm fine." He clarified before yawning.
"You should get some sleep." Millie suggests yawning after seeing Sam yawn.
"Sure your okay out her on your own?" Sam asked not wanting to leave the girl alone if she didn't feel safe with it.
"I'm fine go get some sleep." Sam nods his head before standing up and making his way towards the bedroom. He lays down on top of the blankets and lets out a sigh. The soft sheets and smell of vanilla slowly putting him to sleep.
