When she finished telling him about her life Sam couldn't help but feel sorry for the women in front of him. She had been through so much and at such a young age. By this time Millie had tears streaming down her face. She reached over to the table next to the chair and picked up a photo of a middle aged man with long light brown hair and blue eyes. (Think Andrew Lincoln AKA Rick Grimes) She smiled warmly at the picture loving the way he used to smile and laugh with her. Sam look notice of this and took a glance at the picture as she placed the framed item back on the table.
"I'm sorry to hear that happened to you." Sam spoke truthfully watching as Millie whips the tears from her face.
"You didn't have anything to do with it. I just wished I could've stopped it from happening." Millie spoke truthfully looking down at her lap as more tears fell.
"Come here." Sam spoke beckoning the women over with open arms. Millie smiled softly as the gesture before slowly getting up and making her way over to the moose of a man who wrapped his arms around her. Millie wrapped her arms around his neck as she places her head on his shoulder before resting it in the crook of his neck. Her tears still fell but they soon became less and less the longer the two stayed like that.

With one arm around the small of her back securing her into place Sam takes as quick glance at her. By this time her tears had stopped and they where just enjoying each other's company. The moment though was soon ruined when a phone goes off. The ringing echoed though the small apartment before it stopped and a all to familiar voice fills the room.
"Listen you ugly ass whore. I have had it up to hear with you not answering your god damn phone. I'm only giving you a couple days before I come down there and talk to you myself, and you know it won't be pretty." She then hangs up and the apartment goes silent for a few moments. Sam looks down at Millie for a second the arm around her tightening to make her feel safe. His other hand starts to run through her long hair finding it really soft. She was shaking slightly as her mother's words rang out in her head over and over again. Millie soon though began to relax the safe feeling of being in Sam's arms comforting her and his hand running through her hair felt really nice as well.

"Oh I forgot." Sam spoke making Millie look up at him her eyes still held tears but none fell making Sam smile gently.
"What is it?" Millie asked pulling back from the man to sit up her legs tucked under her as she does so. Millie watches while whipping the remaining tears out of eye. Sam gets up from his spot on the couch and goes over to his jacket and pulls something out of his pocket. He hides what ever it is behind his back and out of Millie's site as he returns to his seat on the couch. He then places a rectangular box in Millie lap as a small blush makes it was to his cheeks. Millie blushes as well taking a glance at the box in her lap her eyes widen. Sam quickly turn away not wanting to see how she reacts to the gift in fear of her not liking it. Millie quickly opens the box a smile still of her face as she takes out the electronic and looks at the black screen. Holding down the power button the screen soon lites up and Millie's eyes start to water.

"Sam I-"
"I know it's not a good gift or anything but hearing your mother calling you all those things and having to watch you when she does it just...I got you that so you could get rid of your old one. You know maybe "forget" your mom's number." Sam rambled while blushing once more. Millie offered him a grateful smile before a small laugh came from her mouth. Sam turns away from her thinking she was laughing at him. 'I knew I shouldn't of-" Millie brings Sam into a tight hug pulling the tall man out of his thoughts. Sam looked down at her small frame seeing a smile on her face. He then lets out a breath of relief seeing how she liked the gift and wasn't laughing at him. He hugged her back making Millie smile even brighter.
"Thanks Sam." She spoke separating from him making Sam frown. Millie giggled at this before her face went red as she feels Sam move a piece of her hair behind her ear. They both stare at each other both blushing slightly not neither breaking eyes contact.

Sam reaches out to her slowly allowing her to pull away if she wanted to, but she didn't. His hand reached her side and was about to pull her towards him but the giggle that escaped her lips made him stop. His mouth turned into a small smirk as he looked at her. The devious look in his eyes making Millie retreat laughing. Sam's hands soon attack her sides making a laugh erupt from Millie and fall back onto the couch.
"No, Sam please." She begged all the while laughing as she tried to get his hands away from her or at least get away herself. A laugh escaped Sam's lips as well as he took in the site in front of her. She was gorgeous, her soft long locks framed her head perfectly, her beautiful smile making the room even brighter. Not to mention her laugh.
"Sam please...hahaha...no stop!" Millie begged again as Sam moved closer to her as she tried to kick him away.

A couple seconds later Sam stops only to find himself hovering above Millie. Their faces where a little over a foot apart but that didn't stop the blood rushing to their cheeks. They again stared into each other's eyes the only sound what could be heard was Millie trying to catch her breath. A small smirk made its way onto Sam's face as he leans a little closer to Millie.
"You know your mom was wrong right?" Sam asked watching as Millie broke their stare and looked off to the side. A hand that held him up above her reached towards her and gently held her face making Millie look up at him again.
"Your not any of though things your mother said you are." Sam spoke his face a couple inches away from hers now.
"One thing she said is true though." Millie spoke sadly as she looked up at Sam. "I'm ugly." She spoke making Sam frown at her.
"I don't know where you're getting this from." Sam spoke making Millie look up at him.
"The mirror." Millie spoke flatly trying to lighten up the mood. A soft smile makes is was onto Sam face.
"Your not ugly." Sam spoke leaning in towards her to the point where he could feel her breath fam over his face. "Your gorgeous." Sam adds before placing his lips on hers.
