The next morning Millie's alarm blares again making her slam her hand down on it. She sits up slowly the man that killed her father was in her dreams last night. She still didn't manage to kill the asshole yet. That was her main goal in life, to avenge her father. Sure a life for vengeance isn't keen for the life she lives but what she can't get out of her head was that the man killed him right in front of her. That he looked down at her father like he was nothing. Rubbing a hand over her face Millie sluggishly makes her way out of bed grabbing her glasses as she does so and make her way towards the bathroom to get ready for the day. Upon entering she finds stuff knocked over and her window open.
"Strange?" She mumbled to herself before picking up the knocked over items and shutting the window.

After making sure nothing was missing and closing the curtains to make sure no one watched her change. She slips into a pair of loose fitting jeans, a Metallica T-Shirt and a black and white flannel. After finishing with brushing her teeth and hair she decided to put some eyeliner and eye shadow on. Nothing to much but enough to not make her look like a zombie. Checking her phone she finds that it was around three now giving her two hours to get to the cafe which was actually a few blocks away from her apartment. Deciding to watch a movie or show to which she decides on The Walking Dead she waits for about an hour and a half before leaving. Slipping of her biker boots she ties them and takes Glock off the counter and placing it into the back of her pants. She pulls her shirt over it before grabbing her keys and opening the apartment door. Stepping out into the vacant hall she turns and locks the door before putting her keys in her back pocket.

She takes the stairs down seeing how she lived on the second floor. Someone bumped into her making her almost fall down the stairs.
"Hey!" She yelled towards the retreating figure, but he didn't turn around only kept walking. She took a quick questioning glance at the man, jeans, a dark green jacket, and short dirty blonde hair. Shaking her head Millie proceeds to make her way down the stairs and into the main lobby saying bye to Fred her landlord on her way out. Making it out into the busy streets and sidewalks Millie let out a sigh.
"Why did I choose to live in the city?" She questioned herself stuffing her hands into her pockets as she walked down the streets towards the cafe. People bumped into her left and right knocking her from side to side as if she was out at sea.

Once she made it to the small cafe she walked inside and sat down at a table and pulled out her phone. She texted the mystery person a simple I'm here and waited for them to show up. It dawned on her that moment that she might be doing something really bad. I mean come on who meets a person online and agrees to see them in person the next day. With a sigh Millie was about to get up when her phone vibrated. Opening it she finds a message from the mysterious S_W.

I'm here

After reading the message Millie stiffened. She didn't turn to face the door as footsteps drew nearer and nearer until they stopped for a second right behind her before continuing until she saw someone standing in front of the table she was at. She glances up and does a double take. In front of her was a very tall male with long brown hair and hazel eyes. His body covered in a dark blue jacket with a white shirt under it and loose fitting jeans as well as a pair of brown boots.

"Hey." He smiled before gesturing to the booth in front of hers. "Mind if I sit?"
"It's fine." Millie spoke rather shy around the male which was a bit strange. "So are you S_W?" She questioned making the name smile softly in response.
"Yeah and you must be M?" He asked getting a nod in return.
"Just call me Millie." She states making the male look at her.
"Sam." He spoke making Millie give a soft smile as well.

"What can I get for you?" A kid no older then 12 came over with a smile on his face. Millie smiled as him and ordered a Caramel coffee while the male I front of her ordered regular. The boy nods with a smile before walking off to give the order to an older looking down behind the counter.
"So you come to this place often?" Sam spoke making Millie turn her head to him.
"Not really I'm always on the go for work so I don't have a lot of time to come to places like this." Millie responds making Sam nod his head while moving some hair out of his face.
"Yeah I get it. I travel for work all the time." Millie nods in understanding and turns when the boy comes back with two coffees.
"The caramel coffee for the lady." He states setting it in front of her. "And a regular for the gentleman." He sets Sam's coffee in front of him as well then leaves.

"Hey, Why did you want to see me anyways?" The question caught Sam off guard making him pause for a moment. He didn't want to tell her the real reason for it seeing how it might scare her off.
"Well you seemed interesting and like I told you before I talk way better in person then other text." He wasn't lying on that part he did prefer to talk to people in person but he also wanted to see what she was.
"I'll be right back." Millie spoke before getting up and going over to the restroom. Looking around Sam noticed that no one was looking and took a flask out of his pocket. Quickly unscrewing the top he poured some of the clear liquid into her coffee before putting it back into his pocket. A few moments later the female returns and looks at Sam who eyed her.

"Is something wrong?" Shaking his head he watched as she slowly sat down before taking a drink of her coffee. The liquid he had put in her drink having no effect on her.
"So... what made you want to meet me?" Sam questioned slightly curious about why she did in fact meet him. Millie only shook her head while looking down into her coffee.
"I guess the same as you. It's not everyday a mysterious person messages you on line asking to meet up. I was skeptical though seeing how people are these days and well my job ain't good for the people around me." She responded watching as Sam looked down into his coffee

An hour of two pass by as the two talked and found out more about each other. Turns out that had a lot in common. From their taste in music to dropping out of college.
"Why did you drop out of collage anyway?" Sam asked as the women in front of him picked at a piece of chocolate cake in front of her.
"It's a long story." She laughed making Sam smile.
"Well we have all day." Millie smiled at his statement before nodding.
"A close friend of mine was killed in a car accident. Me and her shared a room so it just felt lonely. I tried getting another roommate, a different room, practically anything you could image but I was still off. So I decided to drop out and see where the road takes me." At the end Millie was staring at the cake in front of her. Sam was about to say something when her phone rang. Reaching into her back pocket she took out her phone and looked at the caller ID.
"Wendy?" She spoke to herself making Sam look at her.
"Who's Wendy?" Millie looked down at him before sighing.
"She's an older lady that lives below me." She clarified making Sam nod not seeing the fear in his eyes Millie answers the phone.
"Hello?"
"Millie are you in your apartment?" A worried voice spoke making Millie's brows knit together.
"No why?"
"Because someone is."
